Celtics have the better depth, Mavs have more star power (yes, I would rate Kyrie over Tatum/Brown on such a stage). Dallas in 6.

I totally agree. The Luka/Kyrie backcourt will find a way to win one of the first two away games

While the Western Conference Finals were going on the Stanley Cup Western Conference Finals were also going on with the Dallas Stars playing against Edmonton for the right to go to the Finals there. It would've been crazy if both the Stars and the Mavs reached the finals in their respective sports at the same time. However, that won't happen since Edmonton won their series tonight (four games to two) so Dallas will have to settle for the Mavs right now.  North Texas has been having some good fortune lately with their pro teams. The Rangers won the World Series, the Mavs are in the NBA Finals, the Stars almost made the Stanley Cup Finals, and the Cowboys......well, they went to the playoffs at least.

Efficient and fearless glue-guy, magnificent JRue. White superb in defence in his own half , the "Jays" must Not push themselves too hard. Dallas still in enormous difficulty : Doncic Is not enough, due his poor defence, Kyrie struggles to be consistent, the role players give Little or nothing, except P.J.

This series is pretty much over at this point. Although someone will come back from an 0-3 hole at some point it won't happen here. The Celtics are too talented, too deep, and too healthy compared to Dallas. The Mavs played better but that third quarter killed them. Still, they didn't give up and fought back to close the gap in the fourth but the Celts did what they needed to to prevent the loss.

Amen to that. To me, he and Kobe are tied for 2nd as the greatest shooting guards in NBA history. I still remember that shot he hit against the Knicks in the 1970 Finals. R.I.P.

Mavs are done....their 2-on-5 offense won't work against a talented team like Boston. And the Celtics are wearing Luka out, exposing him on the defensive end.

Timberwolves and Nuggets would have beaten Boston. I already feared they would easily walk over the mavs. They've barely sweated in the east.

The injury bug hit Milwaukee and NY pretty hard. I think either of those teams at full strength would have Boston a tougher time.

You're right about the Nuggets....unfortunately, they played a team that was their worst match-up in Minnesota.

Smart move by Dan Hurley. Lakers are a train wreck. Hurley is a god at UConn and he's in charge. He'd have no power in LA (we all know who does).

Injuries to several east teams and Denver losing helped. What an underwhelming finals.

Oh well....on to the Yankees, and we're a month away from the opening of NFL training camps.

Yeah, 3 straight series where the team they faced had injuries to their star player lol

  • Butler - 20.8PPG missed 5/5 games

  • Mitchell - 26.6PPG missed 2/5 games | J. Allen - 16.5PPG missed 5/5 games

  • Hali - 20.1PPG missed 2/4 games

Plus Luka has been on the injury report all playoff long and Kyrie was ass, so he might as well be considered injured.

I couldn't even tell you a time a team had that scenario with 2 teams, let alone 3 lol

Also, who knows what Milwaukee, NY and even Philly might have done if they were at full strength.

But that the way it goes....you play the teams in front of you.

Wow, I always wanted Bridges, but I never thought they'd be able to get him. Plus, we were able to re-sign OG....sweet!

It sucks we'll probably lose I-Hart. I love his grit, but you can't pay everybody.

I keep hearing Mitchell Robinson is on the trading block. He's always hurt, and is a liability on offense.

I'm on the fence about this trade. Hated breaking up the 'Nova Knicks. I wanted to see what that group would have done. Plus, KAT has a reputation as being soft. That won't fly with Thibs. But KAT gives us better ball movement and spacing.
