Depends really, my life follows no strict routine meaning i could be up at 4am for work one day and then wake up at 4pm the next day because self employment son.

Yeah, I have the same need to sleep 9 - 10 hours a night too.

 

 

Right now I wake up and go to sleep as I like. Last year I was working f*cked  shifts at the airport though and had to wake up at 3:30 AM most mornings. That sucked. After work Id come home fall asleep on the couch, wake up cook dinner, then set my alarm and go to bed.

What time did you get to bed?

Around 8 or 9pm. My house mate likes staying up till 5am so Id sleep through his music until my alarm went off then Id say bye and be off to work.

For 5 consecutive days I tried to wake up at 7am, so I went to sleep at 10pm. But on the first day I could go to sleep only at 12am and woke up at half past 8am. Then on the rest of days I could manage the 10pm to 7am sleep, but all those 5 days I f*cking felt so bad, like I had a sickness and it was cold the entire day, even if everybody else was in shorts and in a shirt.

 

On 5th day I saw no progress, so I went to sleep only at 7am next day (even thought it was damn cold the entire time) and woke up at 11am today. f*cking great, I feel like a newborn who can do anything in the whole world.

 

 

That's why I sleep only 2-3 hours, I feel very tired if I sleep 6 or more. And I go to college, it helps, I usually go to bed at 5am and wake up 3 hours later, all fresh and feeling great. I have been sleeping like that for over 3 years.

Anytime between 23:00 and 02:00 and I wake up anytime between 8:00 and 11:00. It's been like that for a while now.

Well, during the week, it would be around 23:00 - 0:00. But at the moment, I have no college or any real work to do, so anywhere after 02:00. I'd rather go to bed late and get up later. I'm not a morning person at all.

Since it's summer, I usually go bed around 2-4 at night and wake up around 12-13.

 

When it's school time, I go to bed at around 22-23, no later than midnight. And I have my alarm set to 6:30, which I turn off and snooze for a few minutes (sometimes ending up till 7:15 bored.gif).

 

Also, what are your suggestions for falling asleep faster? No wanking. I spent an hour trying to fall asleep last night, was annoying. Maybe I was just thinking too much.

Lets see... according to my internet history I got in bed at 1:00AM, which means I probably didn't actually get to sleep until 2:00. Which is honestly way better than usual.

 

Normally I don't get into bed until 3:30-4:00AM, and I am left waiting in bed for 1-2 hours for sleep to arrive.

But listening to your favorite music (as long as you don't sing along it) always helps, I set 3 songs I like in a playlist which should account for 9-12 minutes, play it and I try to be as comfortable as possible. My eyes are fully closed and I don't open them for 7 minutes (I read that a human goes to sleep in 7 minutes) and the music keeps me busy to not open my eyes.

 

Yeah, I sleep with my headphones on, I don't care. I like it that way.

Well matey, I'm on my summer holidays right now so basically I can go to sleep whenever I feel like without worrying when I'll get up the next day unless I have got something arranged. I also like doing what you do Stu but I guess you have to balance it all out otherwise it does indeed get boring. I usually go to bed though at around 2 - 3 am usually and then wake up at around 11-ish.

 

However even by 11 if I have to meet somebody or whatever at like 1pm (Standard time for me and my mates) I feel like I haven't got enough "Resting" time. I have this thing where I like to spend a quite a lot of time at home before I go out because, well I just like resting at home and being with the family a little. So I try to go to bed at like 1 30 am and wake up at 9. I do like my sleep as well.

School is done for the summer for me so I don't really need get up early for anything. During holidays and weekends it varies but normally I'll be going to sleep between 3am and 4am, but there's been alot of times where I'm still awake at 6am and then it's a case of deciding if it's actually worth going to bed.

 

I'm much more productive at night, during the day I hardly do anything. It's weird.

It actually makes me not fall asleep. It gets my heart pumping, my blood flowing, and wakes me up if I already was a little sleepy to begin with.

It's like working out before bed, why would you do that?

 

If I can't fall asleep, I just watch T.V, and have a glass of milk/water. I also take a melatonin in pill form, which is a chemical found in Turkey/animals, and makes you sleepy. It's not as hardcore as a sleeping pill, but you can still get addicted/rely on it if you take it too much.

 

Oh yeah, I usually fall asleep at 10:30, sometimes 11:00 at night.

My sleep pattern is soooo outta whack. It's not that I don't want to, but I can't get to sleep until maybe 3-5 in the morning. It's horrible.

I'm on summer vacation now. I normally go to bed around midnight and wake up around 10am. When I'm at university it varies by my class and wok schedule. Through the week I normally go to bed around midnight or 1am and get up around 9am or 10am. I normally work really late nights on Friday's and Saturday's so sometimes I don't get to bed until 5am, 6am, or even 7am. I'm normally up again around 11am or noon.

Since I finished college not too long ago and only work 2 days a week I usually go to bed at around 10pm-4am On those 3-4am nights I just generally cannot sleep and end up reading from about 2am until I realise what the time is and I feel quite tired. I tend to wake up from around 9am to 11:30am at the latest although I feel like crap if I wake up later than 11. Even though I wouldn't be doing anything apart from the odd job around the house it still makes me feel crap.

 

Since I now have a summer, I guess - I've been working on redecorating the house room by room since I am now a professional painter and decorator. So right now when I work on a room I get up around 9am and eat breakfast and what not and usually start working at about 10/10:30am. Then I usually just finish about 3:30/4pm before my mum comes back from work so she doesn't have to deal with the mess.

 

I don't think I could ever go back to going to sleep at around 6/7am when I was 16-18 I can barely make it passed 5am when I've done stuff throughout the day. Those days of staying up really late and then sleeping all day are long and gone since I hate sleeping the day away.

12am everyday, with the exception of Friday and Saturday when I go sleep later.

 

I am not able to wake up later than 9am any day, with exception of Weekdays when must wake up at 7am.

I usually try to be in bed by 12:30-1:00, because it almost always takes me at least a half an hour to actually fall asleep. Though sometimes I don't get to bed until 3:00-4:00, which is rare, but it does happen, and I definitely pay for it the next day. I'm always awake by 8:00, if not 7:00, so getting to bed at a decent time is important if I don't want to be tired all day.

On most days I go to sleep at around 21:00 then wake up at 4:00 or 5:00. I like to run before the sun crosses the horizon, and night time is just much more chill. On weekends or vacation days, though, I go to sleep at god-awful times or not at all.

Well I enjoyed reading everyone's posts, glad to see I'm not the only lazy student without a job this summer. Today is a disaster already, I woke up at 3.15 and I'm going to feel a bit groggy and unmotivated for the rest of the day. I did set my alarm for 11AM, but I guess I must have just turned it off and gone back to sleep, although I don't remember doing that. Man I really piss myself off sometimes, I'll wank to some kinda ugly amateur I guess. I'll let that be a reminder to myself to not be such a bum. Aaah who am I kidding, it will probably still be some busty milf on pornhub.

It usually ranges from midnight to 3am. I have trouble falling asleep before midnight. But it's all good, I work well with little to no sleep. Maybe even better.

it's an evolutionary response, similar to the reason why you might feel a little tired after eating a large meal. the body is programmed to rest and digest after you've eaten. it also programmed to rest after sex (and of course the same hormones are released whether you've got your dick in a pussy or in your hand; body doesn't know the difference).

 

so while it might seem like the opposite of trying to fall asleep, it actually really helps once you're finished.

On schooldays I go to bed no later than 12AM. I have to wake at 6:30AM so I don't want to be to tired.

 

On weekends it depends how I feel. Normally I will go about 4AM but sometimes I will go between 12AM and 2AM or just not go to bed.

I always try to go to bed at 22:00 because I need a lot of sleep, but TV, PC or books always let me forget time so I go to bed at 23:00 or even later. I have big problems falling asleep, so I wake up at 6:30 and I'm half dead... Damn, I have to turn off the TV and PC and go to bed earlier!

That sub heading was so awful I know. I mean we don't live in barns or sleep with livestock, unless you're into that.

 

Anyways it's currently almost 4AM here in the UK, and I'll be going to sleep soon. I don't particularly like going to sleep at this time, but then I don't really like going to bed earlier than that either. I've got no studying to do for months and I'm a bum so I have no job to speak of. Basically I've got months of doing naff all apart from furiously masturbating just to kill the boredom more than anything. It's getting to the point where it's not even enjoyable anymore, and I used to love touching myself so much as well. But it kills the time so I guess I'll keep going with it until it either falls off or I go blind.

 

So because I have no committments I can basically go to sleep when I want, which recently has been between about 4 and 5, although the other day I did scrape just past 6AM. And I hate it because then you get up at like 1-2-3PM and feel like you've wasted the day. Then you check your phone to find messages asking if you want to hang out, and by the time you've replied everyone is finished then you have to explain that you couldn't make it because you're an absolute c*nt of a human being who festers in his sweaty wet dream pit of a bed whilst everyone else is having a great time.

 

So my goal is to start getting up at about 10AM and actually doing something, so that means going to sleep at about 2ish at the latest really. Which, if you have freeview in the UK, you'll know is the time when good programmes like Scrubs, How I met your Mother and Rules of Engagement start coming on on E4. So when do you go to sleep? And don't just write "I go to sleep at 11" because nobody cares, we need some background info and whatnot. At least it will give me something to read whilst I take a break from wanking my cock into oblivion.

I've had the same damn work schedule for so many years now, so I am totally regular with my sleeping. In bed by 12am - up by 6:30am. If I get really distracted with something I'm playing or working on, I might stay up till 1 or 2am.

No matter what shift I'm on I'm usually heading for Bedfordshire about 1 or 2 in the morning, even if I have to get up at 5:30, so I might only get about 3 hours sleep, but meh, when you get older you end up sleeping less... now in my day all this were nowt but fields, so where was I, oh yes back then we called them winkle-pickers...

It really depends on what I have going on the next day.

 

If there is nothing I go to bed anywhere between 3 - 5 AM, however if there is something going on I make sure to go to bed around 2 - 3 AM.

 

And with waking up, again it depends. Anytime in the afternoon for lazy days, 7 - 9 AM on days when there is something happening.

 

I'm more of a Night Owl than an Early Bird to be honest.
