Champions League 2012/2013 Prediction League

The Scottish Guy

Well I can certainly feel the suits at UEFA and FIFA grinding their teeth in rage. Just like last year, they managed to carefully construct a potential El Classico Champions League final, and also just like last year, it appears their Galactico heroes and Catalan friends will be going out in the semi's. Well done to our German teams, and let's see you complete the job and make it an all German climax.

I wonder what Platini and Blatters plans are for next years competition? Give Barca and Madrid the first leg home advantage this time?

Anyway, if, and I hope, Bayern and Dortmund make it to the final, I predict:

Bayern Munich 3 - 2 Borussia Dortmund

How about admitting English teams just aren't as good (anymore) instead of this conspiracy bullsh*t?

It is damn annoying that people to this day, think Uefa/FIFA helps Spain/Barcelona/R.Madrid. How when 2 of Bayern's goals yesterday were offside (Gomez's goal) and an obvious foul on Bayern (Robben's goal, Muller deliberately pushed Alba). Uefa doesn't want sh*t. If they really wanted an all spanish final last year, a sh*tty penalty in the 90th minute to Madrid and Barca would have done it. Oh and btw, do you think they helped Spain win two Euros and a world cup too?

I can see most EPL fans claiming Uefa helps German teams too if Bayern managed to win the UCL this season and the next one. Jealousy at its finest. lol.gif

Not once did I suggest English teams are setting the standard on the European scope. (Although Man U were clearly robbed during their tie with Madrid).

Uefa doesn't want sh*t.

You obviously don't understand how sporting promotion and financial gain operates.

If they really wanted an all spanish final last year, a sh*tty penalty in the 90th minute to Madrid and Barca would have done it.

I think that would've been a little too blatant, even by their past actions.

Oh and btw, do you think they helped Spain win two Euros and a world cup too?

Yes, yes I do.

I can see most EPL fans claiming Uefa helps German teams too if Bayern managed to win the UCL this season and the next one.

(A) I'm not an EPL fan any more than I'm a fan of any league outside the SPL, granted I find Englands top flight more interesting than others.

(B) Considering that the German teams weren't conveniently handed second leg home advantages on route to a potential famous derby for the second successive season, your argument holds zero worth.

Jealousy at its finest.

Nope. Just suspicious observation provided by rational evident reasoning.

Oh and btw, do you think they helped Spain win two Euros and a world cup too?

Yes, yes I do

You can't be serious. confused.gif

I think that would've been a little too blatant, even by their past actions.

No, it wouldn't. They will just claim that ''Refs have done worse before''. If they really wanted an all spanish final or at least a spanish team in the final last year that would've happened no matter what. Money > Everything, right?

(B) Considering that the German teams weren't conveniently handed second leg home advantages on route to a potential famous derby for the second successive season, your argument holds zero worth.

It will happen in the future, and it will be a total concidence, and desperate fans will still claim Uefa helps German teams.

Nope. Just suspicious observation provided by rational evident reasoning.

Belive me, it IS jealousy. I'm sure a lot of desperate Barca/R.Madrid fans would've said the same if thier teams were getting humiliated continuously by English (or German/Italian) teams for 5+ years.

One of us 4 will win the extra 5 points after the final.

EL grande finale, first ever featuring 2 German clubs: Bayern Munich - Borussia Dortmund !

But more on that about a week before it.

Gtaghost22
Dortmund plays Bayern on Saturday in the BUndesliga already ( Day 32 )

Could be interessting. little test

Bayern already won the league and Heynckes is too smart to basically give Klopp the gameplan he needs to beat them in the final. Bayern will rest half (if not more) of thier players. So no, I don't think it will be an interesting little test. smile.gif

Final prediction: Bayern Munich 3-1 Borussia Dortmund
