Well, I'm all for "games" like Genesis and Where is the Blue, but at least play it out as such. If you guys have some kind of inside info, that's awesome. But you can't blame anyone here for questioning those tweets.

I don't know. I'm with you, man. Like Slamman said they are only a fansite and have no apparent ties to Rockstar (so he says, at least, and maybe to his knowledge he is indeed speaking truthfully. I believe him, for one).

 

The ONLY thing that makes me put effort into this particular rumour, is that in my original post when I posted how I talked to Mike (on GTAC, apparently his username here is PCguytech), he said that the GTAC Twitter account is run by a "third party" If it's truly just a fansite, then who/how/why would a 3rd party be to involve with running something as basic as a Twitter account? That's really my only curiosity in this whole thing.

Mike's made a few bold predictions, but what is said on Twitter or Facebook could be as valid as any other find reported there, I, for one, believe a lot of Wikipedia, others love to dismiss it, which is foolish in my mind

@Slamman, if the game went gold, it would mean it will be out in 3 to 4 weeks roughly. There is no way you think that is plausible, right? I'm thinking I would double check with your sources or the people you know that know people.

I'm not going to entertain any ideas about GTA V specifically, but when a game "goes gold" that doesn't mean they're forced to release it. It just means that the game is finished and ready for release. It's rare, but there are occasionally games that are finished and then shelved for a while due to marketing reasons.

Unfortunetely Resident Evil 6 seems very likely now. However...wasn't it said here that the game already had a cover story?

RE6 is too close to release and too much info known about it to be on the cover.

I'm pretty sure Rockstar Lincoln has nothing to do with the development of GTA V.

My question is have there been any fan sites that have ever shown info about a GTA that was legitimate? I mean, practically most of the info is released straight from the devils mouth (R*) or GI. Let alone the very first info to be released. That's why it seems so farfetched.

 

But hey, if we get info today (seeing GTA Chronicles last tweet) we'll all be eating our words we have said. If we don't get info today, or Thursday we'll still be the Good Ol' GTA V Forum Bunch, desperately/patiently waiting on our computers checking these forums and R*'s website only to see Max Payne 3 being glamorized.

I guess its possible but the game testers they are hiring could be for any upcoming Rockstar title. I don't think that they hire testers on a game by game basis.

Honestly, its possible they are just hiring testers because they need more testers. I know that GTA V (and supposedly Agent) are upcoming Rockstar titles, but just because they are hiring testers now doesn't mean that now is when they need the testers. If Rockstar knew they were going to need testers for GTA V now, they would have hired them months ago most likely.

This is probably just them bulking up their testing staff. For all we know, V is already in testing.

My opinion is its not V just from past let Downs. But he's just acting strange now. Almost trying to convince us its not V this week. Why try to convince us out of our hopes instead of just saying no like always.
