When this first started a few days ago, I was so hopeful that this would be "it".

 

And now I am 99.5% sure it's not.

 

Is it odd tho that those two GI guys delete any comments (well, hide them) on their tweets about GTA V?

 

Twice now I have noticed them do that, from two different people.

I'm about 50% sure it's GTA V, and 50% sure it's something else. Halfway excitement, halfway disappointment.

It's a bit like a rollercoaster for me....some moments I still feel "OMG THIS IS IT" and the majority of the time I feel like nothing will happen.

 

I would think if it was V, they would hype us more. Did they not hype up the reveal of IV? About how they have some mind blowing exclusive or whatever?

 

There's none of that here. All they have done is do a few cryptic tweets that could go eitherway and delete two comments (that I know of) so far from people responding to their tweets asking if it's GTA V. This is different from their usual "no" but they could be trolling because they're simply tired of being asked every month. I don't know GI that well, so I can't say if this is like them at all to do such a thing.

 

Right now, I feel like we've still got a long ways to go before we get any V info. Things are just too quiet. I would expect more hype before a big reveal from GI or R*. A bit more teasing like "OMFG YOU GAIS, SRSLY YOUR MIND, IT SHALL BE BLOWN SOON".

Im not expecting anything until a month after the MP3 dlc's are relased, it just makes more sense to try to squeeze as much as you can out of MP3 reguardless of poor sales

we are giving too much importance to MP3 dlc´s.If we don´t get info is not because mp3 dlc´s is because "We made a promise not to talk too much about forthcoming games until a little further down the track"(dan houser,march 2012, in an ign interview about mp3),this is the real issue.

 

AC III will be released in october and far cry III in november ,so ubisoft will not advertising about Far cry because AC launch?.this is just stupid.

 

The lack of info is only relationated with the date of the launch.Stop talking about mp3 dlc´s.

Like I said in other threads...MP3 is out already. They can market both games, with a focus on V because it's their next game to be released. It'll make everyone happy and I bet it'll even increase MP3 sales a bit from all the pissed off people calming down and purchasing MP3 to have something until V comes out.

 

It's not hard to market two games at once, I'm sure the "experts" over there will be able to figure sh*t out on how to please everyone. Those who planned to buy MP3 already have. Those who didn't plan to, probably won't until much later i.e price decrease whatever else.

 

So move on R* and market GTA V. Tell us something, at least if you're not ready to roll out the marketing campaign. "Oh hi guys, yes the game development is still progressing well....we're not quite ready to talk about it yet but hang in there."

 

Better than "soon", "in due time", "when we feel like it" followed by never ending silence. That just makes them sound like douches right now. There's a much better way of relaying that sort of message to their fans. People like/want to be reassured.

 

But hey, I am not in marketing or advertising. I am sure they know what they're doing. People are going to buy GTA V even if R* decides to talk about it the day before it releases.

I guess it'll be locked right after the cover turns out to be a nintendo thing. I'll eat my own pubes if this turns out to be remotely related to GTAV. And oddly enough, I hope it is.

It is related to GTA:V... thats why there's a GTA:V logo on the cover.

You're thinking about the magazine PSM3, this is about GameInformer.

We've been going through the same thing every month for at least 3 months, always big hype before the GI cover reveal and then disappointment.

 

Still, I hardly believe the new GI cover will be V. We'll see. We are getting closer however...
