BLlTZ Posted June 22, 2012 Share Posted June 22, 2012 You brought the game to live again. Is working spectacular. Even for heli cops, they just go away if you hide in some good places. Another thing is that when you hide from them, you can steal a car and drive it on highways in LV for example without having cops on your back anymore or moments of impact on intersection to block you. Yet the stars are going too fast on streets. After all, in reality if you steal a car without being spot by cops you can shake them, nobody knows that you are the one in that car. EDIT: One small improvement could be made, the higher wanted level, more "aware" the cops are. For example, when player has 2-star wanted, there's 2 times more cops on street, and on 3-star, even more. I guess these memory addresses and opcode 03C7 could help you, if you decide to do it. I know there was another script out there, that did the 'reversal' of this .. meaning, that you only got a star once a cop seen you commit a crime. Does anyone know what I'm talking about ,and have a link for it? If not Junior, can you include this in v3? I hate committing a crime, and there are no cops around @ all, and I still get a star. Nanda_ Posted January 14, 2014 Share Posted January 14, 2014 I noticed that the police stops spawning in their vehicles unless they know where you are - so it would be more interesting if you enable them to spawn in their vehicles depending on CJ's wanted level, thus making them actually patrolling the streets instead of having only few cops on-foot doing it. If possible that it isn't hard-coded into the game, another suggestion would be getting rid of cops spawning on-foot, since once you get spotted, the game will start spawning endless on-foot cops until you are out of the police's line-of-sight. KayLaJay15 Posted October 29, 2017 Share Posted October 29, 2017 Hey man great mod it works very well, in-fact I have a youtube video I just uploaded a few hours ago using your mod to escape the cops at around the end of the video. The one problem I have though is that sometimes it's way too easy to escape the cops and sometimes I can't find really any cops at all when I have something like 2 - 3 stars, is it possible to have more cop cars and cops on bikes chase after you if you're not hiding?
