MrMateczko
I hope you realize, that the limit for "gta3.img" is 4GB? Anyways, new screenshots are great, good job, and keep it up!
Flame
Thanks for the nice wishes. I hope you realize, that the limit for "gta3.img" is 4GB? Yes, and I've already exceeded the limit. (But my gta3.img do not rebuild after more than 3 GB - I try with Alci's IMG Editor). So, HRT 1.4 will be use more then one IMG-archive for the textures. TheD94
Already 4GB+ in use in gta3.img? You "only" got parts of LS finished and already 3GB big mod? Man, when it's going to be finished, then it's going to be around 12GB if I am not wrong. Man, respect for this effort. Those GB's will be worth downloading. TheD94
Flame1251, You should try to make the wooden sidewalks on the pier a bit dirtier and old looking. Would add a bit more details and will look much more realistic. The textures you already use for it would look better on "new built houses" of wood or something. Just some tips from me. aStiffSausage
Agree'd with TheD94, they are walked on with sandy and wet shoes, they should defineately look dirtier. So far, looks really nice! Keep it up!
Flame
LAw2, part 14 Okay, guys, I remade this texture and made it more "dirt" (surface has become more dirty, trampled). Thank you for your opinion, it is important. If I do texture more dirt, than now, will be lost seamless. Comparative picture. Original texture, new texture, and more dirt variant of new texture. Which is better? In-game screenshots. * LODs replacing helped bring that the textures aren't blurred if we are far from objects. However, on big distance are visible some "blocks" of textures, but it's better than blurring. And few other screens with stone pavement and lighthouse. Flame
Because no one has any objection, I left the second variant of texture (with more "dirt"). New screenshots soon. Edited November 25, 2012 by Flame1251

aStiffSausage
Agree'd, much better now! Thanks. And, as I was going through the pages until I decided to read first post, what does this mean? * Most of LODs are replacing too; What kind of changes are to be expected? You mean you'll change LOD-textures to match new HD-textures?
Flame
LAw2, part 15Tennis court Agree'd, much better now! Thanks. And, as I was going through the pages until I decided to read first post, what does this mean? * Most of LODs are replacing too; What kind of changes are to be expected? You mean you'll change LOD-textures to match new HD-textures? I mean that I replacing some (not all) LOD-textures. For example, old LOD-texture in 32x32 or 64x64 pixels and I am making a new LOD-texture in 256x256, 512x512 and even 1024x1024 pixels resolution - smaller than the main variant, but bigger than old LOD-texture. This is done so that replacement (small LOD-texture on the big main texture) was not so noticeable. Is I correctly expressed? You can correct me. Maybe also look into his IMG Organizer : http://www.gtagarage.com/mods/show.php?id=22125 Okay, I try it later.

Flame
LAw2, part 16Tennis court My work on LAw2 section is finished*. Next section LAhills, the last part of Los Santos. Soon it will be time to move to the next city. * - but, perhaps, I come back later for enhance some textures (my tradition) Does the higher resolution .lod cause any FPS problems? I did not notice. But do not forget that if there are any problems, all them will be fixed. Edited November 27, 2012 by Flame1251
Gramps
After LAHills; will you release Los Santos?
SnowySA
I remember back when I tried to retexture my GTA SA with the Snow mod. I used MEd to know the txd names, copy+paste the name, search and export that txd and start replacing textures. Most of the roads uses some sort of global road textures, so by a little mistake you have replaced that txd you editted with the original txd. It was a very huge pain in the ass to retexture the map. Flame
After LAHills; will you release Los Santos? No. I think that is not productive and mod is not what has been old HRT Pack. For example, that I could place version with Los Santos, I already must sort out with several IMG-archives, but I'm not ready now. It will be easier to do when the whole mod is completed. It was a very huge pain in the ass to retexture the map. At times, this work is depressing.
Flame
LAhills, part 1The landscape of section I came back to show you new screenshots from HRT 1.4, screenshots from the next and last section of Los Santos - LAhills. This section is very big, it literally runs along few other parts of the city, but (that I was very surprised) I almost finish my work on it! I am very tired, this work took a lot of effort, but perhaps there was some sense. Some statistics. Unique (not repeated in the previous sections of the texture): more them 250 (and hundreds of textures that already are made). My folder with BMP textures for section is weight 603 Mb. TXD-files of this section are weights 409 Mb. HRT 1.4 gets "fat" on the eyes, textures in 2048x2048 pixels resolution are ubiquitous. This time will be just a few reports, not 10 or 15, and we move on to the next city. In first report I show you (first of all) landscape of LAhills - rocks, grass and other. And do not forget: this is not final result. Edited November 30, 2012 by Flame1251

Kalvin
http://www.imagebam.com/image/67a517223296987 I think the dirt tracks need to be a bit more visible (by that I mean the lines - darker) Because right now it looks too, clean. People have ridden over it, so there would be deep tracks.
