Everything is going well. Not as well as I waited from myself, but I don't abandon the mod. I still hope that this year will be productive. BobFromReboot, do you think that it will be better to capture the next city screenshots with enabled new cars textures? I also think so. Also I have some prepared screenshots that I want to post in the next time, when I set the mood for this. Although I really wish that you used the PS2 textures as your base. Even though they have a lower resolution (maybe), they are less compressed than the PC ones, and they have more color to them. For the last time I have a logjam (or obstruction, something like this, a dead point in my other cases - and because of this my computer work is not very productive again, but I need as faster to let go from this difficulties), I do not want to talk one and the same, but I always keep the mod in my mind, however for the last time I work with it more rather mentally, than literally. I think such a long development time is too large for any mod, and I feel some discomfort with this, but it will be finished one day. About PS2 textures. If I'm not mistaken, earlier I was standing on position that it is not needed and the textures in the mod must be made with using PC textures as a base, because PC version was released later and has some improvements. But now I understand that now always changes can be really good and not always developers can be right. So it's a good idea. I want to download the mod with PS2 textures. Then, before I will make new texture, I will see at textures in both versions, and if PS2 texture will seem to me better, the new texture can be similar to the PS2 one. Will be interesting to do such little experiment. LaDiDa Posted April 28, 2017 Share Posted April 28, 2017 You won't notice much difference with the ps2 textures in most cases, in some however you'll see that the pc textures have censored parts (litterally a black/white bar) or have a lot less color to them due to dxt compression on very low res textures. But using both as a reference could help with a few of them. Recent times I had some important things in my life, including important events connected with my education. They are finished for this moment, but I still don't feel myself free, as always my mod is stumble a little and I even can not find some time to show you a lot of really good images with very good progress for last months. I also captured videos. Hope soon I will finally sit down properly near the computer and, for the first, post a lot of interesting media here, and then will move, as it should be, the progress of the mod's development. I must to do this in the nearest future. @Flame : If you're good at modelling, you can start a new project called HPM (High ploygon models) But I am not good at modelling unfortunately. I like 3ds Max program and want to study it well. But I still cannot do a lot of things there. So I improve mapping and fix little defects, and HRT does not contain only the textures, so even the name is maybe not very suitable now because of this. But maybe it's late to change it. I've noticed for example, SRT .COL files are messing up with the explosive barrels in End of The Line. So it's better to edit DFF models, rather than .COL. Probably not since it wouldn't work too well with trees as well as performance taking a nose dive. I cannot not edit them, because very often some glitches of original objects are connected exactly with their collisions, and I can not avoid this. I don't think that this can be connected with some problems in single-player, rather with online, where as I remember this is undesirable. In previous reports I often write about such fixes.
