All Saints General Hospital textures are released as separate mini-mod


Separate mods - pieces of HRT 1.4 - allow the quality of textures, but before the end of the development of many can still change.

You can download it here.

Screenshots of hospital and details about it, let me remind, you can see (read) here and here.

The question of a guy on the Russian forum about trees reminded me something and I now ready to tell you about the trees. So, in mod will be new trees and plants textures in HD, but the new models can be expected - I don't want make alternative to Project Oblivion (new trees models). However, with new HD textures trees will look great. Some textures of plants (such as shrubs and mini palm) by the way, you've already seen.

I also wanted to ask a question to the experienced users on the forum. How do you think it is possible to open a common theme delicates to my little (not global) mods? As I see, there seems to be no one else did. Edited by flame1251

Here is some new screens. First sсreen - mini-palm on one of street at evening; second screenshot - just one of buildings (near the hospital). On third, comparative image shows the one of roofs texture.

This image shows again what I said - some buildings in the HRT 1.4 change not only the textures, but also texture mapping. Often I fix strange texture mapping - very little elements or excessive stretching etc.

 

In this screenshot, you can see that the original model use the same texture and for roof, and for wall. But in HRT 1.4 I added the new texture for wall. Thus, HRT 1.4 is the one (the sole) mod that contains even more unique materials than the original game.

No, spring/summer/autumn/winter mods - are global mods (by the way, soon I open thread for summer and for autumn mods), I want open one thread for my little mods such as Cosmonautics Day (one topic because to create many individual topics I do not want). But I see that it seems no one here did a common theme about the mods, and in the rules section of this seems not. About timecyc's. I do not know, maybe I release it, but frankly I would like them to be part of the mods were only in those mods. Just these are the things that create a unique mood in the mods, like ENBSeries settings. smile.gif

HRT 1.4 exactly a year!

Today - september 22, modification HRT 1.4 celebrates its first anniversary (birthday date - the date when opened topic on Russian forum and made the announcement).

 

When I started doing this mod, I was sure that I am doing it in a new quality with comparative with old versions, but for the year I got a great deal, I enhance my skills and... already reworked several times made earlier places. I understand that I can not delayed, because the longer I do it, the more there will be a desire to pass something anew. But believe me, I aspire to a remarkable result.

 

 

LAwn. Part 10:

Market Station

 

Today we talk about Market Station. I do not just redid the textures, but redid also mapping. I fix some bad places (see comparative screens bellow); I added reflections to the textures and added pretty reflection to 3D letters on the facade of station.

Market Station

 

And few screenshots of this station. On last screen you can see night prelight - it makes the station more grim than in the original game, it is better, in my opinion. On second picture with comparing you can see skewed tile on original game, it fixed in HRT 1.4. On a rails in the original game had no textures; in HRT 1.4 it have new texture.

Jefferson Motel (interior).
Part 1


Let us digress from Los Santos. This is textures of Jefferson Motel interior.

Exterior (you can find it's screens here; see links after "Other screenshots") I already remade, although it has since been improved; also exterior was released as separete mini-mod.

Almost all textures of interior are made in resolution 2048x2048 pixels.

Two years as began work on the project:
A brief history of modification


September 27, 2010 was released first version of mod, HRT Pack, full title — San Andreas HRT Pack (v1.0 LV). Mod (the name, by the way, accidentally almost coincided with SRT) was born from the idea to collect all my little mods to replace textures, which I made in that year. When mod has become a global project, I continued to work on him, occasionally release separate «pieces», mini-mods with textures from future versions of HRT Pack. I still do that.

During the 2010 I release next versions of mod: San Andreas HRT Pack (v1.1 LV) («LV» means that in this version I made new textures for Las Venturas, finish the job from the first version); San Andreas HRT Pack (v1.2 LS) (added new textures for Los Santos); San Andreas HRT Pack (v1.3 SF) (added new textures for San Fierro).

Next I had plans to finish with the countryside and the desert in HRT Pack 1.4, but postponed work on the mod, and then, when I started doing this version, I realized that I can do everything better then earlier, I ready to next level and new quality. So, I decided to do all anew... Mod got a new name - just HRT 1.4.

Starting work, in September 2011 I released HRT Pack 1.3: Enhanced Edition, improved version of the «old-gen» mod (recently I released it here and added English readme).

And today HRT project was two years old. Very big time... And even then, when I began work on a new version, I learned so much that I had to remake already made things. And I am ready to bring the work to completion.

P.S. Once again, sorry for my illiteracy. I hope you understand what I wanted to express. It's important.

I like your progress, but everything starts to look unrealistic. Maybe you should edit textures to be more detailed by that I mean dirty/ragged/old looking. smile.gif

Sadden your words. smile.gif The fact is that I do not add the mud (dirt) where it was not in original texture. If the original texture of the "dirty", I also do the "dirty" texture. If original texture "clean", I also do "clean". Maybe it seems that everything has become too clean because old textures have been in low resolution and because they looks muddy.
