Having trouble installing gta 4 pc disk 2 error?

So i click install and everything is going well , but then halfway through a window pop up and it tells me "Please insert disc 2 that contains DATA3.CAB ,( I don't have that file in my computer) and i put in disk 2 , then another window comes up and tells me to choose a file , so i pick gta folder ,and it says error and then the download window closes. i have no idea what to do im not good at files computers or anything .I bought the game 8 months ago and cant play it cryani.gif i have windows 7 home premium 64 bit

When you're halfway through the installation and it asks for disc 2, you just put the second disc in and click Ok right?

Or is that when the error pops up?

When it asks for the file, I believe you should select disc 2 in the CD-drive.

The second popup shouldn't by opening at all.

 

Create a folder on your hard disk, copy both DVD contents to that folder and then try running the installer from there.

Hi! I was trying to install GTA 4 on my PC it was all going good,Its said to insert disk 2 and i did it.But then when it was installing (just about 1 minute after i inserted the disk 2) it said:

(A WINDOW POPPED)

 

Feature: Grand Theft Auto IV

Component: GTAIV_Dynamic

File: F:\GTAIV\data3.cab

Error: Data Error (Cyclic Redudancy Check)

Maybe your file is corrupt
