Rockstar's next title after V and Agent?

New project IMO. I'd like R* to do a horror game. My idea is for them to take a similar concept to the Supernatural tv series with 1 or 2 protagonists travelling across the country solving mysteries with ghosts, demons etc. Basically LA Noire meets Alan Wake and Resident Evil I guess.

I have never played bully so i cannot say anything against about it, i voted for a new Red Dead but i think its too soon and also a lot of people want a sequel to bully + it has been a long time(I think it was released in 2005) So yeah i think they deserve it.

Bully was a fun but flawed game. If Rockstar made a sequel for it like Red Dead. It will probably blow my mind.

I would also like to see a pirate game too. I made a concept map for one but i highly doubt i will develop it into a full concept. I would love to see R* make a pirate game RDR style. But the ability to sail huge ships and multiple island chains as well as a big chunk of sea in between the island chains. That would be a day one buy for me.

Same here. I would equally enjoy all three of those. And based on how long it has been since Bully, and how long RDR and L.A. Noire took to make, we can infer that these sequels would take quite some time to come out, but would be excellent games when they arrive.

Thanks bro. It's always interested me how the concept would work in a game. To me it's almost like CSI with demons and what not.

 

I suppose they could use a lot of mechanics from LA Noire, but it'd most likely be a shooter like MP3. Couldn't see it as open world.

Explore islands for treasure, buy merchandise, new ships, crews, ect. The water has to look very realistic too, because that's where you would spend most of your time. You can be an honorable pirate like Jack Sparrow... or an evil one like Black Beard. There really isn't any good pirate games, especially any that's free roam. So R* needs to home in on that!

I want a new Bully more than anything right now, so I voted for that. And it seems to be Rockstar Vancouver's next project since they're done with Max Payne 3. Seems likely that it's going to be one of Rockstar's first next-gen titles, maybe the very first if Agent comes out this gen.

 

A new Red Dead game seems inevitable, but I expect not to hear about it for a while. It's gonna be amazing, for sure.

 

As for L.A. Noire, I believe Rockstar could make a pretty great successor, but again I doubt we'll hear about that for a while.

 

I think Max Payne should be left alone. The ending to Max Payne 3 is a perfect conclusion to the series (Girl on the TV at the bar: "It's dark in some places, but sunny everywhere else!" Max walks off, seeing the sunny side of Brazil for once. No ending monologue, because Max has finally found peace at mind.). Spiritual successor could be cool, but I think even that would be a stretch.

 

I'm not huge on Midnight Club and Manhunt, so I can't really speak for them. I actually just bought Table Tennis for $5 because Xbox has a sale going on... It's really fun. As far as games revolving around table tennis go, this is the best of them all. Wouldn't mind them putting out a new one alongside a much larger title, haha.

 

Finally, all I have to say about a new I.P.: Zombie survival game. Just the idea of R* creating something like DayZ, with less bugs of course. Maybe with RDR: Undead Nightmare and all, it'd be overkill, but you can't deny how interesting it'd be.

+3 on a pirate sandbox game from R*. I've had this idea as well. I'd also like a 1970's era crime game set in Chicago or Detroit.

Seriously, this game is freaking beast. Closest thing to being a pirate frankly. Bethesda did a great job. Wouldn't mind R* having a go though.

I really wanted to see an SA Stories too. Rockstar Leeds did an excellent job with LCS and VCS. They really packed them full of fun stuff to do. Empire Building in VCS was a blast. There's no telling how much cool stuff they could have put in SAS, but it's a missed opportunity.

I can't exactly picture Warriors 2. Would be difficult to think of a storyline for that game since the first one was based on the movie. So like the others, I voted Bully 2.

 

The first one was just absolutely awesome I was hooked on it all the time. Would like to see a new characters, school and a new protagonist although I wouldn't really care if Hopkins returned but most people would want a new protagonist.

 

A new Midnight Club would be good too(IMO), the last one I played was Midnight Club II back on the PS2 and that was a lot of fun especially some of the cheats that come with it too. I'll think about getting Midnight Club L.A. for the Xbox360, the walkthroughs persuades me to get it and I'd love to get back into the driver seat once again ..

At least remake the sequel for this current gen or the next.
