That's the stuff people remember, because it's funny, and young people who say they hate 80's music only think about the new wave techno crap and punk which is utter shit in my humble opinion. But the good side of the eighties had some quality music and STYLE which is what I believe will be covered Vice City, because the producers, as they've shown with GTA3, have TASTE. joey_homicide Posted October 10, 2002 Share Posted October 10, 2002 what's wrong w/ punk? so maybe i'm not all ghetto... but it's a big part of the 80's, and i think it reflects that 80's coked out agression really well... i mean i doubt we'd be hearing anything by minor threat on VC, but i don't think you should rule it out as something for the game. Rap wasn't huge in the 80's... it was really getting a scene in the late 80's but it was still "underground". Sure the music is the cheesiest sh*t ever written but there were a lot of quality musicians that you just dont see today (mostly guitarists). Personally I cant wait to hear what else is lined up on the cock rock station besides Priest. This is easily going to be the best game ever made...as if you didnt already know that. old school rap will kick some serious ass though too!
