Algonquin Assassin
I'm sure we all have them, but do you have a game or a few games that you own that you'd consider rare as in not being able to pick them up pre-owned or even new? I suppose this can count for any generation, but preferably from PS2/Xbox onwards. Well for mine I still have my copy of Manhunt on Xbox I bought in 2004 just before it was banned outright in Australia. Another game I'd consider rare is Tourist Trophy (Gran Turismo on motorbikes). I bought this game in 2006 and have never seen another copy of it. Not even in a game store preowned.

Jeeebuuus
Just bought Far Cry Instincts Predator for 360 and Hot Shots Golf Fore for PS2. I'm searching for games either hard to find and good or good from my past. Better than most of the sh*t I see out there. Clone ass sh*t.
Freakorama
I have a beta of Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 1. I was searching for it over the internet for a long time I managed to somehow find a copy. Then ever since I did and gave it to someone else you can find it much more easily now.
Moth
Need For Speed Most Wanted: Black Edition. It was the collector edition for most wanted, and added 1 new car, the 1969 Camaro. I never really saw a copy of this game used, until last year when I bought it. Formerly known as The General
Remix
Need For Speed Most Wanted: Black Edition. It was the collector edition for most wanted, and added 1 new car, the 1969 Camaro. I never really saw a copy of this game used, until last year when I bought it. That's crazy rare! Like, $10 new off Ebay rare! I literally have nothing rare that is gaming related. Rare games don't tend to rise in price much anyway.

gta_king
I own all four original .hack games which are fairly rare in the Uk. Apparently there weren't many copies of the Metroid Prime Trilogy for Wii made too which is quite odd. I did a while ago have a copy of MGS Subsistance for the PS2 but sold it on. Beyond this not really sure which if any of my games are rare anymore. Maybe a few of my PSOne games like Alundra and Wild Arms are rare, I know when I bought Wild Arms back in the PSOne days it took long enough to find. Fireman
Got a boxed version of Sanitarium (even though you can get it on GOG.com as download now). I got Messiah, which is a rare game, because nobody played it. Trickstyle, never heard anyone mention it. Theme Hospital in a box. GTA - GTA London combo pack in a box, probably not very rare, but might as well mention it.

Barguast
I have the PAL / English version of Terranigma for the Super Nintendo. I was always under the impression it was valuable - a quick ebay check shows some ongoing Buy-it-Nows in excess of £200. It's not going anywhere though - it still ranks as one of my most favourite games ever.
ptiko
I keep meaning to pick up these two games They go for around £40-150 on ebay I do however have GTA: Limited edition with the soundtrack
4 Bagger
Nothing really, except the beta disc for The Sims 1. I have the Sims beta disc also with all the original Sims expansion packs. I have one of those Toys R' Us demo discs that had a bunch of ps1 demos on it I also have one of these. - I have Avatar TLA TBE which appears to be a rare game and I've looked for it in a number of games shops and never seen it. I had to get it online and most people only buy it for it's easy 1000G on Xbox, same reason I did but I managed to get it cheap.
FlavouredMilk
I could have a couple laying around, the only one that comes to mind is GTA III. See, in Australia we copped the censorship, though a few stores got original copies on the shelves before being taken down and reissued, my father had picked up one of the original ones at Harvey Norman, uncensored, unchanged and with original box-art. I take pride in having it now in my collection. Besides that I've got some golden PS1 classics, but nothing too fancy.
tuareg
I'm sure i'd find a few if i dug up my gameboy color stash. No recent gen ones, though.
friendly luggage
Jet Set Radio is probably the rarest game I own at the moment. It's a very good game but underrated. Nopheros
Joaoseinha
I'm not sure exactly how to classify games as rare, but I have about 100 PS2 games. Anyway, here's some I never found for sale ever again after buying them: Tourist Trophy - Nothing to say about it actually. Driven to Destruction(EU)/Test Drive:Eve of Destruction(US) - It's awesome, way different from the other TDs,it has destruction derbies and figure-8-races and an epic campaign Test Drive:Overdrive - Bought this when I was six, hated it,still hate it.Graphics suck, physics suck, everything on it sucks. Midnight Club:Street Racing - The very first midnight club. When I was 5 I bought a playstation 2 together with my brother paying half each(it costed about 120€) and our parents also bought us a memory card, the controllers and 3 games of our choice.I bought this,Rayman whatever and Pitfall(a 3d one which actually is very entertaining). Playboy - Just kidding,I have seen this for sale another time after I bought it.I was 7 when I bought this and I thought this was a game like the sims.I was fairly mistaken... May be forgetting some, not sure.
GTAboyWonder
I have Conker: Live and Reloaded for my old Xbox. Seriously, you can't find any of these in legit stores. I don't even remember how I got it... And I also have GTA:SA for the Xbox. I spent almost a year looking for an Xbox copy! thatstupidbug
don't know if it count, but my copy of Vice city is the original one, with gas grenade, bugs and cuban/haitian "racism" Plus, there are games that aren't "rare", but they are difficult to find today, and i found WWF wrestlemania and Fire pro wrestilng (both from 2000-2001) for GBA last year here in italy

jackass2009
Roadkill I'm not sure if it counts, but seeing as I can't find jack sh*t on google, I say it does. I've had Roadkill for going on 9 years. Imagine a mix between Grand Theft Auto and Twisted Metal, but you can't get out of your car, and you have a sidekick. It has some really fun couch co-op and I still play it to this day. If you still play your PS2 or Xbox, and you see this game in the bargain bin, FOR THE LOVE OF GOD, GET IT.
