I haven't been playing it as long as most other people, but I like Zombies. That's the only reson I get it, so I don't play the Modern Warfare games. You don't find the Zombie mode fun? Typhus
Wait one bloody second, this sounds remarkably like a pyramid scheme. Is this even legal? It doesn't seem like a game at all. Who's going to spend real money on the slim, slim chance that they will receive this reward? It just seems like a very transparent, very ugly get-rich-quick scheme. Honestly, I reckon the grand prize is going to be a crudely drawn sketch of Rich Uncle Pennybags sodomising Scrooge McDuck on a pile of your cash. Awful. Doublepulse
Kind of reminds of gambling or winning the lottery. I think the mystery prize is the amount of money people spent on getting the chisels in the first place. So if more people spend more money, there will be more money available to the winner. So everyone puts money in a pot for 1 person to receive. Either it will be a serious reward like that, or an attempt to troll everyone into wasting their time. I think it is both . DeeperRed
I would imagine the contents of the box would be stored online and not within the game files itself, allthough this could still be open to hacking im sure it would be alot harder to find out the secret. I am swaying to the idea that the prize will not be in the sphere itself but revealed once its done. That way no one can really get there hands on it Also I don't see why everyone is being quite cynical towards this idea. If you don't like it or it doesn't interest you then fine but why would you want to be hacked ? We need to support these ideas regardless of if we agree with them or not because it promotes others to think outside the box. Its not often a game lives upto its name, but i'm very curious right now! Especially with Peter M at the wheel but I have faith

meta187
I'd like to be the guy who buys the measly .90 pick axe moments after the diamond one has been purchased and just happens to chip it open on the first swing. AZAZEL
WTF? $77,800. For that money i would buy a brand new Range Rover Evoque wtf a range rover evoque is 800K USD here... blame my f*cking gov for having such a high tax for vehicles I have a hard time believing that. See, we have some of, if not the, highest registration tax in the world, and a top of the range (pun intended) Evoque is roughly 170,000 USD (209,000 of your Singapore dollars). I very much doubt that your taxes are 4-5 times higher, and find it more likely that you got something backwards. Oh, and I think people are putting too much into this game. It seems to me that it's designed to tickle your curiosity, nothing more. It's a social experiment. The high-priced DLC's only function is to make you curious, and thus the price has been set unrealistically high, to encourage discussion and conspiracy theories, while (hopefully) preventing anyone from even considering purchashing it. Jonesizzle
I've bought a couple DLC's that were disappointing and I did not get my money back for that. And note this guy was involved with selling hair and dye packs for "DLC". I'll pass.

I will probably mess about with it chip away a few blocks but no doubt we will all find out what is in the cube anyway. It maybe simple but lets face it people play farmville! Chukkles
Just becasue someone spends 50,000 on a computerised chisel doesn't automatically mean they'll win. How pissed off would you be to buy it and not win, some dick with the cheap one gets it after you spend hours hacking away, really you just loosened it. Yes. That would be cool. Ding ding ding. This is so clearly a bet in favor of lower app prices. Anyone who buys into it thinking "f*ck that dude who bought the diamond one" is a sucker. Also, I wonder who will buy the $77,800 item.... the houses here are very expansive cuz of lack of land. the country land area is only 702KM( takes about only 40 mins drive to get from one side to the other side of the country) as i said a ford here is about 200K to 300K and a low class condo without swimming pools etc are about 700K while a condo is 5M and a private house is about 30 to 40M USD. the pay here isnt even that huge too, the average pay here is only about 2000 to 3000 per month. you need at least 12K per month to even get a cheap small car like honda jazz by installment Edited August 13, 2012 by kudoboi
