@Sebianoti : Xbox cars fit better with III RC . And for the menu it look bad with orange color . It's better in white .

The fonts will be made by Flitskikker. (play & quit uses the fonts from the game, the text under it is just a png file)

btw nice pic garju, and blaster i like the interface, except that Episodes FOR... title

Its from SA LC. They put the save the ferry's thing there. I think they wanted it to be an Easter egg.

 

As for the LCS thing. Some stuff from LCS is going to appear, but don't worry its nothing major. Its just the following: (List can change)

-LCS like timecyc. Reason is III's timecyc is too dull. So we are going to have the LCS one, however in the shadows it will look like III lighting. Because we have this ability with Rage, we can do it this way.

-LCS cars that were not in III. This is to add more cars to the mod. However, we may have two cargrp.dat files so you can choose whether or not the LCS cars spawn.

-LCS bikes. They will fit better than the IV bikes. I'm sure people would like to have bikes to drive.

-LCS helicopters. The III heli's will look very bad in Rage. The LCS ones will look much better.

 

As for the name GTA III Rage Classic. I came up with it. Only name that sounded good. GTA III Rage is what the name should be however I added classic into the name because the GTA III Rage team took the name, and their mod is HD. This mod has the original models, like IV SA and Vice City Rage.

 

So as far as the name is concerned, if I had it the way I'd like, I would call this mod GTA III Rage, and the other team changes their mod to GTA III Rage HD. If the other team agrees to change their name to GTA III Rage HD, and we can change our name to GTA III Rage it would sound a lot better. Classic really doesn't fit well, but fits best. The mod isn't going to be 100% classic because it isn't the original game with the original gameplay and graphics, plus it has different trees. It would also sound good if we call it GTA III for Rage, but it would get confusing. If we change our name to GTA III Rage, and the other III to Rage team changes their mod to GTA III Rage HD, we would pair up nicer with Vice City Rage and Vice City HD.

 

So request to both teams for the name changes so they fit much nicer and make it easier to know what the mods offer. This

-GTA III Rage ==========> GTA III Rage HD

-GTA III Rage Classic =====> GTA III Rage

 

Edit: Yes wite looks better. Black may be fine if the characters were bigger.

He's already mostly stopped working on IVSA, also GTARandom has. So after the release in July (what blaster and gtarandom stated) it will be the final one.

Thats true, but this happened after Beta 2. He may go back and work on it and possibly:

-Have more coding stuff done like missions. (May try to find someone else to do it)

-Add more bump and spec maps.

-Convert more interiors.

-Convert more vehicles.

-Maybe fix the paths.

 

Also K^2 is still developing his flight script for IV SA. We may use his script on here so we can simulate the Dodo. However I would like to include a full wing Dodo that was seen flying around in III and VC. But as for the clipped wing Dodo, K^2 script can be used. He has it so the aircraft has to be at a certain speed to be flyable. This can be used to make the clipped wing dodo hard to fly.

What would be really cool is to have a flyable full wing dodo, then have the ability to break the wings off by knocking them off by hitting them into things, and it would look like the III one. Saints Row had this. I'm sure GTA V will have it too.

IDK if thats possible. The wing peaces that fall off could be doors that can not be used.

 

But with car pieces, IV didn't have bumpers fall off like in the III era games.

video is very popular, physics have potential, for a driving game like GTA it would never work, 1 slow crash and car is useless lol, but yeah scale it down and it's amazing.

Edit: Anyone know why the police crash happens? It should be fixable, i mean it doesn't happen on other map total conversions...

 

 

Today i thought "all the interiors are unrealistic, they have daylight and outdoor weather inside them and look bland as f*ck".

Well as you can guess, i wanted to improve the mod so this is the result, interior one : Bellville Park toilets.

 

- New lighting to create an indoor atmosphere.

- MLO that makes the game know it's indoor.

- It isn't affected by the sunlight, rain or any outdoor event.

- Wdr with new vertex coloring.

- Adding actual lights would be great, Blaster, can you do that? I've made it dark so that added lights would suit it and give jeux 'de position (ohh aren't i posh using eloquent words).

- Will upload to DB in the morning.

- Will probably do an MLO for the Portland safehouse too.

- Any comments/suggestions/constructive criticisms appreciated.

Nice work. Another interior that would be great to do is the tunnels and subway. I wonder how they did the Booth tunnel in GTA IV. It seems like its done different than the interiors.

 

But one thing. Whats the possibility of making an interior for Claude's Staunton Island and Shore Side Vale Safe houses? I always hated how you just walk into the door way.
