Well, there's the normal version (obviously), the vigilante edition, the special edition and the U-play edition. I'm sure that more editions will be announced soon (if there are any).

There's no crouch button either, Aiden automatically crouches (in a restricted area when enemies are not aware of his presence), same with jumping.

 

A shame, but we'll have to see how it works out.

I know R3 is for focus (from a recent gameplay vid where the upgrades are seen).

There might be a ingame option to change the controller layout. If not, I'm sure I'll get use to the layout after a few hours.

I was really skeptic and all about this game,didnt follow any news or hype for it until these few days and going,but it seems like you dont like the game,why?

But you havent played the Game yet to start Criticising the Controls...despite me comparing this game and calling it a "GTA Clone" for the past previous pages,i came to realise it that it a unique game and the first "Next-Gen" OWG,atleast i wasnt ranting about the controls why? cus i have yet to play it,until the game comes out and you have try it then you point is valid but until then you cant judge the game...btw Sleeping Dogs cough (Bad Controls/Wonky Camera) cough says hello

So let's say you want to jump/climb over a gate, what do you do? Nothing. You just stand next to it with a blank face and get trolled by Ubisoft. At least the cover system is apparently automatic which is still a bit weird.

I myself would love if there was a jump/crouch button,but just cus it not in the game that doesnt mean i cant live with it,btw the Saints Row Franchise through it 8 years of existant (and a modern OWG franchise) never had Cover System or Great Controls or Auto-Aiming but hey 13ml people who bought the SR Games (1-4) lived with it.Atleast for a new Franchise,It has Cover System,Great Driving Controls (Hopefully) and Aiming and even Parkour so that shows that the game will be f*cking awesome even though it lacks Jumping and Crouching Elements and like i said before,we have to play first before judging it

Didn't Splinter cell Conviction have L3 as reloading? Its weird but I'm sure I'll get used to it.

 

*Edit*: Ubisoft should add an option to reload using the SIXAXIS function like in GTA V.

R3 ADS is the worst thing in a shooter. Im glad that this was an early PS360 thing. YOu can hate on CoD, but they made ADS and Trigger Aiming popular.

Everything can be learned. Even that L3 button for reloading. As for jumping and climbing over obstacles - have you ever played games like Assassin's Creed or Batman: Arkham series? That's the way it's gonna work in WD. And I'm happy the cover system is automatic - Tomb Raider has it, Ground Zeroes also. Really makes the gameplay more fluid. Next-genish sh*t.

No, for me that has to be the worst control layout I've seen in a while. L3 for reloading is just not comfortable for me, so I can change the layout. Why couldn't it be automatic or L2 to reload? And yes, I already owned AC Brotherhood and the climbing was just sh*t, it was not fluid and sometimes it wouldn't even work properly.
