I knew it. Ubisoft at their lowest again. That looks disgusting for a next gen game. If it looks like that on the PS4, imagine on the XB1. Ubisoft had to have used a high end PC to show it off last year. Lol, these guys are the biggest bunch of liars and lazy developers I've seen.

 

The characters look amazing though. Why do textures in the environment look worse than IV?

 

 

Edit: I'm calling it right now. This is going to disappoint hugely. Hope this flops hard. And to think they would improve the game when delayed. Ubersh*t.

You do realize that not every game is more inferior on the Xbox One version than to the PS4 version? It's been revealed that the Xbox One version of Thief is actually superior to the PS4 version, even though the PS4 version has the higher resolution.

It's a f*cking joke. I know not all games are like that on XB1. I'm criticizing Ubisoft for once again, their lazy ass development. They haven't got rid of this bad habit. The PS4 is more powerful so it should have been clearly optimized better.

 

Btw, the story still looks good to me. Also, if you actually read the article about thief, then even some PC players are having issues like the PS4. PS4 version was optimized badly, and is also using a decade old filtering called trilinear filtering.

I'm just saying not EVERY game is more superior on the PS4 version all the time. But, I agree, I have a feeling this is going to do mediocre at best. I don't know. The trailer just did not interest me that much. Not going to buy until I see some in-game gameplay and reviews. It was a bad decision to make this a cross-gen game. This limits and constricts your game so much. Ubisoft needs to learn from Rocksteady.

It's no surprise that companies like adding effects to their games when presenting it, only to look like turd on release.. let me remind you what Gearbox did with Aliens: CM at E3 and then at release.

 

Anyway, this game isn't that interesting anymore as it was when we had it presented to us, but it's still going to make a wonderful birthday present for me on the same week.

By the looks of the new trailer it looks like that's the case. If they did the same with ac IV black flag then i'm really pissed. But i just read some previews and they say it looks better than ever. I'm very curious about the detailed Chicago and story and hope the driving is good. Good or ugly graphics i buy this game anyway.

PS360, staple framerate, no experience with the consoles... there are 100 reasons.

Apart from this, the reveal was played on a PC.

Ubisoft is quite known for doing this.

That is something that I thought about when I saw the 'Gamespot' video. It wont bother me if it happens very rarely maybe once a day or so, but then again if I hack alot of people I doubt that I will remember what everybodies profile thing said about them.

Dont get me wrong I'm not trying to make excuses for the graphics but it might look better when we play it personally than what justice a Youtube video can do for it. I'm not saying it's going to look as good as it did in 2012 but might be better than what we have seen so far.
