I'm going to order the jacket Aiden Pierce wears in game. It looks so awesome:

Look at the clothes under it. A pink striped shirt. With the right outfit I'm sure it'll look sick. I was also thinking about ordering one.

This game looks great, but after doing some research it will not be as fun GTA 5.

Will this game be free roam? and online multiplayer aswell?

Yes, but the multiplayer is going to suck.

Yes, but the multiplayer is going to suck.I saw the vid of the multiplayer demo at E3 last year and it looked meh, unless they spice it up a little bit, then it could be fun, who knows. Also the game took a massive graphics downgrade compared to what we saw in 2012, then again it's ubisoft we're talking about. Always showing bull shots *cough cough* Far Cry 3

Yeah just like rockstar. They should team up. Bullshots combined with a delay:). Then again they make fantastic games.

I'm really looking forward to the game. As for the graphics downgrade, that really isnt a issue for me as the graphics still look very very good. I'm more concerned about the gameplay and if the cars handle well as from what I've seen of the driving it looks like it might be more like Sleeping Dogs, which was terrible when you drove a vehicle.

It wasn't really a graphics downgrade because the gameplay they showed last year was on a high end PC.

You have to remember there is a PS3/360 version as well, so there will be a major difference between the old and current gen consoles.

Time will tell. I'm gonna take it for PS3, and I wonder how will it stack up to the current-gen consoles.

I like the atmosphere of this game, by the way. I personally prefer it more to GTA V's "loud" L.A. vibe.

I'm going to be getting it for the PS4 so the graphic capability (I hope) should be fairly good.

As for the vibe, from what I have seen of the city it does seem to suit the game fairly well and is a bit more cinematic looking than GTA V was.

I think there will, not graphically, but physics wise.

Graphically as well because of the lack of AA, not so good textures and like you said, the physics. The PS4/XB1 version is going to be a fresh version.

I am still pretty certain that watch dogs will sweep gta under the table, unless gta releases a next gen version and fast.

its not even the comparison between the two that you need to look at, its the overall game experience and the type of game it is.

seriously, if by now you do not believe this game is capable of having both a better story, mechanics, and a better dev team by now, then you belong on the 360/ps3 versions of gta for good.

the fact that they pushed the release date back was for me, evidence of a team who cares about their game. I cannot wait to play this game... and I have known since day 1 that regardless of its capabilities, it would take GTA's place.

GTA is too open.. i know.. i know.. crazy right. well, it is crazy. the entire game is chaos, especially in online mode. you can do anything anytime and just die and respawn. its fun, but it gets old and if you browse the online section of these forums, you can see the deviants it creates.

I see Watch Dogs as the same type of game, but more realistic and with obvious limits. The first thing you want to do in GTA is grab an RPG and go nuts... I do not see watch dogs being that type of game. My strategy and tactics seem more fitting in Watch Dogs.

Rockstar have pushed GTA V and GTA IV back too. They too care about the game, by your logic. While GTA is mostly about fun and chaos, there's a lot more to it than the mindless fun you can have IMO.

For me personally, I am in no way interested in Watch Dogs. No way. I've tried to get interested but I just can't, I appreciate tactics in video games but WD just isn't interesting for me.

For instance, they have taken quite a few features from previous Ubi games. Like breaking into a base to take control of all phones in that area, it's the same as capturing outposts in Far Cry 3, nothing new there.

And I understand the game is about hacking but is that it? Where's the story? Where are the side-missions? All Ubisoft have shown so far are about hacking and hacking. I feel that it could get old fast and the storyline will most probably suck IMO.

In other words: I am much more interested in The Division and The Crew. The Division is also a tactical game and I am interested in it but WD? Not even one bit.

Its time for a fresh new preview so that i can hope they got more in their pocket then what ace said. But i'm pretty sure there will be sidemissions and collectibles and other open world stuff.

The division yes indeed. But The crew seems like one of those race games you sit down at an arcade and play, just with a really big map.

If they did take features from other games that is to be expected. I cannot hold that against them before I play it. GTA is famous for doing this btw.

You have no idea what you're talking about.

How is The Crew like an arcade game? You just know nothing about racing games and assume they're all the same. Go do some research.

while off topic, I would not consider my knowledge of racing games to need any research. Or did you mean google?

compared to forza, and gran turismo, that game is very much considered arcade. You can take the same car (lets use a camaro) and turn it into a trophy truck fit for desert races... lol.

Crew-Midwest.png

Don't be so offended, but how can you assume that I assume anything, when the only comment I made on the crew was that it is not a realistic racing game. does the pic above look like a sim/realistic "racing" game? or a GTA arcade style racing game where anything goes....

how about these:

E3-2013-Ubisoft-The-Crew-Gameplay-074-12

take down your target? must be some new kind of "race"

TheCrew-copy.jpg

nos, offroad at 120 mph... in what seems to be a mustang with a GT wing and a snorkel as if it was a diesel offroad vehicle capable of treading water up to the windows.

it has all the classic NFS arcade normals. sorry you choose to ignore them. enough "research" for ya? (in just 10 min too! no way!)

and btw, I never said it would be a bad game. arcade?

Don't be naive. They pushed the release date back because they knew they don't have a slice of chance with GTA V and their own game, Assassin's Creed IV.

exactly, their own game. with its own nature and status that does relatively well compared to GTA V. If you throw in online play and all the negative attention that GTA V has received from it, then AC4 BF has a better, cleaner standing record with equally the same amount of "5 star ratings". Why not continue it by not releasing a half assed beta version, also, like GTA did with online.

the only slice GTA V has ever had is on old gen's. time to move on.

Ghost you implied that The Crew was a budget game you throw in an arcade and play for 5 mins. That is nowhere near correct. Edited by Guest

lol how did I imply that? you are the one assuming now... I never said anything about its budget or how long you should play it. "Do some research."

your OPINION was that its not arcade style. your opinion is wrong. So lets move on and back to watch dogs.

that is exactly how I feel. only towards people like the guy who want to play the crew so badly.

maybe the statement was a bit of a stretch... but at the rate of downfall GTAO is heading... is it really? people do not want to wait while you work out the screw ups your dev team thought they had under control, people want a solid play through. So if it meant pushing the games release date back, then so be it.

everyone here is just truly mad that watch dogs was supposed to already be out, and it's not. GTA let you guys play the beta without calling it a beta... some game companies are just smarter than that, and would like to avoid negative attention.

what sounds more dissapointing: a game held back to be perfected? or a game that people are already tired of and on its so called 12th online update? I am sure that number is truly more close to 50. They even admitted that not all updates are notified and some are slipped in under the radar. Nothing wrong with that, unless the whole reason you have to do it is because of how broken the game is and the lack of security you encoded it with being infiltrated by millions every second.

so.. yes, I have high hopes for Watch Dogs. I had the same for Metal Gear Solid, until I saw it was being released on 360/ps3 as well. You cannot unlock the full potential of a game that way without completely redesigning it for the new consoles.

How is GTA:O in beta? Do you even know the definition of beta?
