Yep. But with Multiplayer, people can go into other people's game as an NPC, so it's like the game is always connected in a hidden state. It has potential.

I've been hearing rumors that the WII U version may be axed and they've been really quiet so a March release is very unlikely as said above, I'm guessing maybe August or November release.

Meh, I am not really excited. Only reason I'm actually bothered about the release date is because the PC version for V could be announced any minute now since Rockstar love stealing the attention from another game.

 

I don't know but I just can't bring myself to get excited for WD. I love Ubisoft and I am eagerly waiting for The Crew and The Division but Watch Dogs just looks, boring to me.

 

I understand this game is centered around hacking but is that it? Are there any side-activities? Will the story be good? All I have seen thus far is hacking and hacking and quite a few of the elements have been taken from previous Ubisoft games. Like the fact that you can attack the control center is similar to attacking outposts in Far Cry 3.

 

I don't know if I will pick it up, maybe I will, maybe I won't. But I am not only uninterested for Watch Dogs but I also have a feeling that it could end up as a flop.

Totally forgot about this game! I remember this was considered a "GTA Killer" lol.

 

I really hope it is an amazing game and lives up to the hype but I have a bad feeling that it's just gonna be like Assassin's Creed but different setting. If that's the case then I'll be avoiding this game because I really don't like the AC games.

Just got the PS4 so Watch_Dogs, here I come! The more they polish this game.. the more awesome it will look and play. I hope to see the wind simulation and the gorgeous views of the city and water soon:)

Ubisoft want to release WD between April - end of June 2014 then I think best if R* release V before WD as for me its the only game that can compete with GTA V.

 

In terms of sandbox games nobody can compete with Rockstar.

Can be good games like assasins creed, watch dogs, sleeping dogs, etc but will never reach the level of quality and ambition of a R game.

The thing is WD is exciting because its a real Next Gen Open World (I have serious doubts current gen users that didn't even saw how the game will be, are that hyped), although that idea will change once V PC is announced and people see how it looks and feels... Bye bye Chicago, welcome Los Santos...

And I could see Rockstar releasing the game by June and with WD already released post something like "2 Months is enough in Chicago, come to the Sunny Los Santos this Summer".

I agree. The level of how breathing and real a city "feels" was never topped by any other game series. Not even scratched.

 

Its hard to describe it. Its the amount of hundreds little details, the atmosphere, the landscapes, the uniqueness of the world that makes the open worlds in GTA so absolute over the top and better than in other games.

 

Even on the sh*tbox LS feels absolut real and stunning. And in my opinion until now no game even reached the level of GTA IVs Liberty City authenticity and feeling as a living and breathing open world.

Sounds like you've already seen the PC version in action, lol.

 

I think Watch Dogs won't be so easily compared to V. I mean, V does so much, but doesn't really focus on one aspect in particular. This is not a bad thing. But while Watch Dogs will not be as huge in scope, I can see it will have some very interesting and exciting mechanics with all of those various hacking systems/techniques in place.

 

So I guess you could say GTA V is a jack of all trades, master of some. And Watch Dogs is a jack of few trades, hopefully master of all of them. As that "saying" goes.

That's not a release dat but a release window. That release window was announced back in october. So we still know nothing.

That's what I am waiting for - although my PS3 is getting a little loud and I need to have a external fan constantly switched on and colling it down (Last time it did this, 2 months later it was f*cked)

 

At the moment this game is my only motivation to buy a PS4
