This and Bioshock being delayed to next year could very well indicate a late 2012 release date. It could, of course, be just a dumb coincidence. However, it would be smart to keep tabs on this particular Tomb Raider; if it gets delayed to a later date as the year goes by, I think we'll know why -- remember the thing about Rockstar raking in a bunch of money by the end of March? Pretty much this. The publishers' main concern will be to simply release their game when it is ready to do so, not based around other games regardless of their hype or importance. Thanks, I love these things lol In regards to the others: like I said on OP, usually developers try to steer clear from GTA releases, so even if it does not mean that it will be released this year, we should be watchful of whether or not Tomb Raider gets delayed. It's being released on March, which is the last(?) month of the fiscal year in which Rockstar is allegedly supposed to rake in a lot of cash for Take Two, and if Tomb Raider gets delayed from its current date, there's a good chance that it's because of a GTA release in March. @Knife That's very true, but if I were in charge of handling the publishing of a game I funded, I would do my best to steer clear of something as big as GTA; it would be counterproductive to release my game at the same time. October 2012 release is the best date for GTA V it will make the profits that TAKE TWO are looking for and will not interrupt Bioshock. If you were a fan of Bioshock and GTA and only had 60$ for one game will you buy Bioshock in February 2013 or wait one month to buy GTA V in March 2013?
