I had to skip back to cs once again to make better roads/intersections and flatten terrain for the building area's..

This is my result so far, with few props and idea's to let u know what to expect biggrin.gif

Thx and ye i guess, it haves oil pumps near it and some modern industry buildings.

Working now on bumps for mountains, after it going to continue with modern Black Waters town and redemption/ruins all over map..

Than try out the new blended materials in gims biggrin.gif

Sorry for asking, but is it possible to make the RDR vehicles into GTA vehicles? It'd be neat to have the Model T spawn near that Blackwater auto repair shot like in RDR, except not broken and immobile.

I suppose it compatible animations, it's the matter of making it into a functional vehicle.

It should be possible, only if you can work with zmodeller for converting car to IV and could find texture for that car, else you need to retexture it yourself.. I can send the model of it if you need biggrin.gif

Haha, thanks but I have absolutely no skills. Believe me, I tried GTA modding in the past and I failed. Although I did manage to make some texture mods. At least it's good to know.

And speaking of vehicles, the real cars can be optional, right?

Lol thx, was just trying out new blended materials in GIMS but having issues with that.. Can't see what i'm painting lol biggrin.gif ( should be black on white )

But gotta stick to older plan than with alpha blending, its better this way and it haves normal textures tounge.gif

 

 

 

About cars, etc, you will make the traffic too?

Yes, i hope it just can be edited how many car there can be driven on..

Top notch. Those underground are gonna need an MLO otherwise there will be sunlight in there. smile.gif

Also, send me the model and textures for the Model T Ford, i've never converted a car to IV before but i can use that model as a learning attempt and if i get it right at a high enough quality then you can have it for this TC/Map mod. The caverns would look too flat and bland if they're made into MLO objects with MLO visual settings (no sunlight, etc). To make the interiors have the depth like R*'s original interiors, it needs vertex coloring and light shafts.

Edit: Ty for the files, hopefully i can learn car exportation fast enough for the release date of RDD '12. monocle.gif

 

As there aren't any textures from the original car i cant convert it unfortunatly.

am back for less than a month, nice screenshots, where did you get this bushes, also ive got a problem in gims i dont see liberty city map, its grey do you know where it come from ?

 

also have you got some old houses model

Thanks to y'all cookie.gifcookie.gifcookie.gif have some cookies, cause i've some news over that i'm rebuilding map for last time in cityscape.. Kinda wanted more open deset and some better cliffs, don't worry the mountain rocks will be added later just like in previous screens. Here is some of what i've been working now on and also showing how it might look in the end with blendings icon14.gif

Ye i could lower it, or raise the ground.. But i have plenty of time this week now. So it'll have some upgrades and better stuff on map by the end of the week with ingame screens.

Don't know why you think that it looks like Mars, that planet is more red. I have more brown, was kinda basing it on this screen:

Yea, only it isn't the time for screenshots.. I'm kinda planning to get beta done by this weekend to show off/test ingame like: terrain, roads, blendings and some special scenery!
