Hello. I'm planning to create GTA4 HUD for San Anreas with many features.

So I'll show you progress on this modification here.

 

Already done:

-health bar

-armor bar

-fixed radar width&height

-replaced radar icons

-fixed radar icons width&height

-changed level markers

-changed marker colors

-changed radar map size

-some changes in menu map

I'm interested to know what the difference is .. besides the coding tounge.gif

 

Also; one thing that bugged me about Alexander's HUD, was not being able to move the time. Wasn't compatible with all phone textures.

 

Also, on the 2nd page of this thread; http://www.gtaforums.com/index.php?showtopic=457169&st=0; you said you where going to re-make that mod . Are you going to include it in your GTAIV HUD? Maybe even some sort of 'Phone Service' mod?

Cops appear randomly around the player (just spawning in the same block), so that would require a whole new script to not make it look weird.

it would't need a whole new script, he only need to make markers on the cops to show on the radar that's all

AFAIK, it'll 'cause a heavy performance loss...Judging from the textures appearing at one time..10s of cops on the radar, the radius thing, the stars, gunshots, explosions, etc...as function X suggested, it'll be better if there are lesser textures appearing...

Does this display properly on all aspect ratios, i.e. 16:10 or something? Alex's IV HUD was 'swell, but it, like the vanilla HUD, stretches when I switch to a different resolution.

Yes, it must. Previous screens were made with 1280x1024, the last one with 1600x900. Oops, all were made with 1600x900.

Will be radar zoom like in GTA IV? And functional phone, that will see name of boss who call us and we can call for police, taxi, ambulance and firefighters.

I don't see a need for calling public services, of course they would be great addition, but not needed unless DK22Pac wants them.
