"edsboat"

Major NPC named Ed?

Eddie McReary?

Perhaps.

I want to see if either names (Sab and Ed) are in that casting call from a few years ago - everyone seems to still think its real.

Well here was my first impression after seeing the list, probably been posted though:

"car_brzhatchjnk"

"car_brzsedanjnk"

Brazil junk cars from MP3?

"railmu"

Railmule, like attachable train cars?

"autogiro"

Sounds like one of those tiny personal helis

"napalm"

military chopper from Vietnam?

"edsboat"

Major NPC named Ed?

"chairlift"

"snowplough"

Snow peaked mountains are in.

I suck in geography, there are snow peaks around LA?

The last name was on a casting call. One of the McReary's (Patrick) also left for Los Santos at the end of one of the IV episodes didn't they?

Edit: Okin found it^

Guys this is 100 percent real,

Get it through your thick skull that zzcool is a legitimate member and that this thread is 100 percent real or GTFO.

GTA V was already under developement at the time that Max Payne's developement began.

Rockstar used GTA V as a starting point.

That is why the Vehicles.ide, handling.dat, carcols.dat, and many other GTA V's files were left on the disc.

Rockstar were to lazy to remove these files while Max Payne was under developement.

These are early developement files of GTA V that were left in, which means even more cars and planes!

Still don't believe me then GTFO devil.gif .

Yeah that was Packie IIRC (that's who I thought you meant when you said Eddie at first, suicidal.gif ).

Anyway, if here's the bigger list with de silva and whatnot: http://www.computerandvideogames.com/29242...ters-uncovered/ (there's no one named Sab though)

Also says eddie is a proportionate of legalizing weed, perhaps, if they're the same people, we'll use his boat as in drug trafficking.

So has anyone else actually confirmed the file in their copy of MP3?

No, the only thing that (as far as I'm aware) we can confirm right now is that a file "common.rpf" is found on both discs of MP3 for X360; that file seems to also be opened in "MP3 Extractor" by twisted89, seen in a screenshot. And this file seems to contain (among other things) the vehicles.ide.

As far as I know, and I'm not a game modder, the MP3 files can't be extracted from the .rpf container file without knowing a certain AES key, and we do not know that, noone posted it.

And MP3 Extractor apparently won't be released publicly.

I think they have yeah.

A while back a massive screen shot was uploaded of the file.

You'll have to look for it, it was on page 18 I think.

I think this files are from GTA4... Development of Maxpayne3 started in 2008... We got a Coverstory of Maxpayne3 in 2009 from gameinformer, then the game got delayed for an unknown reason.

tldr

I think this is not from gta5

Then they removed a lot of vehicles from the game, too much to be true actually.

Nice, very good backed up response.

They have been known to use the same filenames over games (GTA3.img from GTA 3 and VC, then SA) so this sort of makes sense.

Only thing that confuses me is why they would still leave the data lines in there? they wouldn't be linked to everything otherwise you could also find all of the actual models and textures of the vehicles too! and that would be stupid...

No way. Theres absolutely no way they originally intended on having Snowplough, Skimobile, or Bobselighs in Liberty City.

I am not sure why GTA V vehicle files would be in there, if anyone could explain? send a PM Preferably since this is my last post before i head to work.

That is mostly not the case, because those vehicles actually take up MB's, and as you now, there isn't a lot of room on a 360 dvd.

Text is just...text.

This extractor looks exactly like spark.

It's not legal to psot the AES key here.

This key is read from your own exe, in the pc version that is
