The only complaint I have is every time I respawn, I have to open the weapon wheel to switch. Too bad there isn't a feature that lets you pick a weapon you want every time you respawn (selections from the weapon wheel).

 

Yea, it's honestly pretty damn annoying you have to switch to Dual wield EVERY freaking time you spawn. You can also accidenly drop your 2ndary weapon on the ground by pressing down on the crosspad when the wheel is open, which will happen on occasion when you get in a hurry so watch out for that as well.

Hey guys , Im Snakesy I joined the crew about a month ago and ive enjoyed every minute of it .When i first joined the crew i was crew rank 60 asomething i think since then ive been rocking out the feuds and now im crew rank 11 soon to be 10 .

 

I highly reccomend to anyone that plays max payne they should try to get into a decent crew if no the GTA forums crew

 

Just want to say thanks to meta who took me on in the gang after completly not knowing me but im sure he doesnt regret it haha

I have to get back in MP. Right now I'm currently re-playing GTA III, RDR, and a few other GTA's like I do every summer.

After I'm done with that (hopefully by next week) I'll hop back in.

I'm starting to fall behind others in terms of my rank (I'm rank 36).

Leveling up seems to take forever. After every game, my bar moves up 4%, and I'm like "what the f*ck!".

By that you meant that V will have Crew LBs divided into MP modes like the MP3 ones?

Cause the main Social Club LB (Platinum/Gold/Silver/Bronze) won't reset at all.

It will combine all XP gained by Crews in R* games.

 

Yeah that's what i meant, i remember it 100%, in a newswire comment by R* back when the Soc Club was launched last month that Leaderboards platinum-gold-silver-bronze will be separated for each game, so once V comes out, there will be V leaderboards, when RDR Next comes out, leaderboards for that one, etc. Of course MP3 leaderboards will still exist, but XP gained there will be separate from other games.

 

Unless something changed in the meantime, as i haven't followed it much the last 2-3 weeks?

Good because I would not be comfortable with the hosepipe rubbish that is mp3 ruining anything to do with gta. Having time to consider it MP3 is the worst R* game ever. La Noire pushes it hard but that was an experiment IMO and should not be used as a comparison. At the end of that day the crew thing is a novelty that has already worn off on me as you have crews with 200+ people in them. Most them not old enough to buy the game. How are supposed to dislodge that from any rankings. The rockstar crews are clearly made so that no fan created crew can top them.

I'm sorry but I think you got it wrong in this case.

They probably meant that V will have a separated OVERALL LB just like the one MP3 has now.

 

In fact there are already MP3 only Leaderboards. You access them when you click on GAMES > MP3 > CREWS.

There you have MP3 Leaderboards divided into MP3 Multiplayer Modes + an OVERALL MP3 Leaderboard that at the moment is a mirror of the main one being MP3 the first and only R* game with the Crew system.

 

The main Social Club LB (Platinum/Gold/Silver/Bronze) will combine XP gained in all R* games.

 

There are many things that confirms it.

 

- The FULL LB can be accessed in two ways:

1 - via your Crew Page (pop up window of Crew LB with XP x member)

2 - via CREWS > VIEW FULL LEADERBOARDS button

So there's nothing that defines the FULL LB as an MP3 Leaderboard but rather as an OVERALL Social Club CREWS Leaderboard divided into Platforms.

 

- The FULL LB reports stats that can be applied to any future R* game: XP, members, #1 finishes + kills, deaths, crew assists, suicides, games played/won/lost/finished/placed 1st/placed last.

 

- Same goes for your Crew Stats and accomplishments found in each Crew Page (Feuds will certainly be back in future games) which btw has no signs of any separation between the games played by your Crew.

 

- R* created a number of Crews based on the theme of other R* games for a reason: to use them in future games and to have them competing in a FULL LB where all XP from all games are combined.

 

- The idea of "create a crew on MP3 and carry it on GTA V" confirms the fact that there won't be any kind of resetting as far as the FULL LB.

 

It just wouldn't make sense to have a FULL LB (Platinum/Gold/Silver/Bronze) for every game when you can have a separated LB for each game.

The current layout of the Social Club already displays such separation in all its structure and I doubt it will completely change when V is out.

There will be a V section and a fresh new LB for V but the FULL LB will combine all games.

That surely, i know that i saw them mention different leaderboards for different games in a reply to someone, so do they also mean split main social club lb or not with that, we can just guess now. There are hints at both right now, but as i said, we can only guess.

 

I personally think that they are going to split the leaderboards eg. http://socialclub.rockstargames.com/crews/mp3/leaderboards and http://socialclub.rockstargames.com/crews/gtav/leaderboards or something like that. I don't think it makes sense to combine MP3 XP and V XP and all other R* games into one leader-board. Too much numbers...too much confusion...how would we know how much XP is from what game... Each crew in each game for itself can be a different story etc etc... But anyway long story short, we're all just guessing and doing wishful thinking now, nothing's confirmed just yet. SO whatever R* decides to do, that'll be.

 

Btw, i'm sure R* will upgrade Social Club to another level once GTA V anyway. There is just tons of other features that can be added to the crews page, and things that people are requesting to be added/fixed. Plus, it's still kind of buggy, the crews pages and the leaderboards itself. I'm sure a major update before V launch is going to happen.

I don't think it makes sense to combine MP3 XP and V XP and all other R* games into one leader-board.

It does for Rockstar as it would encourage people to buy and play all Rockstar titles. $$$

I'm not a fan of the current leaderboards either. It's not about how good crews are, but rather how much time they invest in playing and gathering xp. And of course bigger crews have an unfair advantage.

The feud system is alright, but could be better too. It would be nice to declare specific crews enemies and have ongoing feuds with them. As it is now, you have mini-feuds with pretty much every crew you encounter (even if that crew is an ally in your book).

New maps are nice, have a slight Manhunt feel to them I'm happy to say with the police and the Pig Masks and such.

 

The M4 is pretty comporable to the AK or G6, put a supressor on it and it's great for sneaky classes.

I feel as if they just ripped it from the game, and then charge you again for it.

The M4 and the maps should have been in the game to begin with, that's my only gripe.

I feel as if R* are starting to turn into Treyarch/Infinity Ward.

I mean, compare this DLC to TLaD/TBoGT. Those were good DLC's because they had a large amount of content for a good price. They were so big, it was even sold on a disc, like a separate game.

Now my only hope is that they don't do MP3 style DLC for GTA V, but more like TLaD, TBoGT, and Undead Nightmare. MP3 style DLC works better for games like MP3 and CoD, since it has lower replay value, and most people go to the multiplyer after they're done with single player. But I feel as if they could of added to the single player.

I'd very very very disappointed in R* if they do this with GTA V. I never thought I would have to talk about them like they were CoD developers, but I guess that day has come, at least in terms of Max Payne 3.

You won't be able to gain exp till GTAV, holler back.

 

Also, GTAF is currently the #1 Private crew in the world for Team Death Match and the #11 in both categories. Overall World Rank #23. Great Job guys.
