I don't see that being a problem but I think it's probably a given that everyone in GTAF playing Max Payne 3 will fully be jumping over to GTA V upon it's release. MP3 is just the first game available for GTAF Social Club members to play together so that's where we are currently focused. Believe me, when V drops that'll pretty much shut everything else down.

 

GTANet still has a ton of space for our less active members waiting on that and we've added their roster to our front board as well so again a 3rd League may just be redundant at this juncture.

 

This hasn't been without it's challenges but we're certainly trying to be fair to everyone involved.

I'll be joining the PSN branch of the crew online pretty soon - just been playing single player to get used to it and what not, in addition to being busy with other things of course. I'm eager to play multi player but I've been interested in the Max Payne story since the very first one, so don't fret about the apparent inactivity with some of the members.

The crew is making awesome progress from the looks of it though!

My screen name is "ADeertick" and I just got invited by meta 16 hours ago. At the point where I click 'accept' it says "TOO MANY CREWS" in red highlighting. I've been invited by 2 crews and have denied them both and now I'm in zero crews. When I click 'accept' again, it still says "TOO MANY CREWS". What's up with that?

In this case it's because we're sitting at 300 members, you can join our GTANet Crew or wait for a spot to open up, turnovers pretty regular as we have outsiders joining from LIVE and PSN pretty regularly who leave within a day or two.

The most recent Newswire article seemed to focus on crews in the top 40. At 43, we need to step it up we're right on the edge of breaking in.

That was a tough game Meta, only our 2nd free aim game too. I've really enjoyed this crew thing, its allowed me to meet a lot of you fellows that I had previously only read your posts. The fun I've had bullsh*ting and killing other crews with you all till 5 in the morning has been great. Can't wait to meet more of you guys! Can't wait till GTA V! Props to Meta, Zero, Kyle, Icarus, Jones, Robot, and the rest I've been playing with whom I can't remember right now.

Yeah you you have to earn the exp while you have GTAF set to you primary.

Those other crews are public meaning anyone can join them while private crews are limited at 300 at this point in time.

One thing I just want to point out to anyone jumping on and not sure how to play with our fellow Crew mates. Once you click on Multiplayer, simply hit Right Bumper on your controller and tab over twice and you will see the Crew Listing of everyone online, even people not on your friends list.

 

From there throw out invites to everyone and see who will join you. The more we play together the better we do and the higher the EXP Bonus. Typically, I see anywhere from 5 to 12 people on at all hours of the day and night so you should be able to find someone on to run with. Good Luck.

I finished the single player story mode yesterday (I took my time I know) and I want to start playing multiplayer soon except my shooting isn't the best to say the least. I'm ok at shooting enemies in the story mode but I know that human players are going to be twice as tough. Are there any modes where I can get some practice in without getting completely annihilated?

Well, you can play "rookie" (team) deathmatch first, where you'll only be playing with newbies. As soon as you get a certain amount of kills (100 in total, I believe), that option won't be there anymore. And I would recommend the "Big Dog" burst, which gives you more health.

Thanks for the tips man.. I'll try that. That's a really good option they put in because by the time you have killed 100 opponents you should be pretty used to the Multiplayer modes. I think I need to start off soon otherwise I'll be well behind everyone else in terms of levelling and weapons etc. a lesson I learned from Red Dead Redemption

Grats to everyone yesterday. We had one of our best days for feuds since our start, knocking out over 20 wins and pushing our Feud AVG to 61. If we all keep playing actively and well we'll break into that top 40 soon.

 

Remember, if you take a loss from time to time it's no biggie just know when you're outmatched and walk away rather than taking several losses in a row because you were stubborn or simply didn't think to leave the match.

A tip: every time a crew member plays a DM or a Payne Killer match, if he/she doesn't win and he/she was wearing the crew tag, it is counted as a Crew loss.

Which is a bit of a bs imo cause it alters all the crew stats making it hard to keep a positive win PCT.

D12 experienced it first hand when we realized we had a positive Win PCT in Gang Wars and TDM but it was below 50% due to the DM and PK matches.

Better to not wear the Crew tag when playing DM and PK unless you are pretty sure you are going to be the top dog.

 

Also, right now it is hard to stay on top. A lot of crews are climbing up. D12 managed so far to stay between the 30th and 40th Platinum PS3 but it is tough.

But win percentage only accounts to feuds and it's impossible to trigger a feud on your own. Or are you not talking about the win % on the Crew page?

BTW, it seems like if you leave a game after you've triggered a feud, you'll automatically lose that feud. So if the enemy crew seems too strong, it's best to stay and try to win the current feud.
