What is even with that, some are like 30-40 seconds long. Why not just have them come on without any loading like PES. Not bought the game but i was around my cousins the other day and spent a good few hours playing 1 on 1 and 2 on 1 online with another friend. Great fun, really liking this one although that finesse shot has been proper nerfed, still scored a proper belter from outside the box though . What's peoples play styles? do you like to pass it around and keep possession or is it just pass to a fast winger and leg it down the wing? Possession football in the game seems so enjoyable. a mixture and it depends on the team. for the most part i try to move the ball around and use the wingers - have a winger burst and open space, but also look for the pass. I don't cross that often, i tend to look for the floating midfeilder. Counter attacks are useful - I would have got a goal last night from a corner (Keeper caught and did that epic long Goal kick to striker) but the game gayed and forced my guy to hand ball it :@ i tend to play quite slow - knocking the ball around in defence a lot, and i suffer when i play online because i'm just too slow. With my main team (my made up one) i have solid centre backs, fast wingers, "lampard-esque" midfeilders, and flamboyant strikers - i play each player accordingly: My wingers are fast, but weak, and they'll outrun but not outmuscle defenders, but not have too much power at the far end, so they'll go for the lay off or pass (i dont mean THAT lay off, i mean the sort of drop-back pass) My forwards vary - i have a nigerian who's a magician - i HAVE to beat players with his skills and tricks (harder in 13 than 12) and score "skillfully" I have 2 jamaican brothers, one's fast and skilful, the other a brute. His shot power is high, and he'll not bother with a sprint or skill, just spank it! I've been trying to play as my pro and getting pissed off. The game is, in career player, ignoreing the massive set up of entrance music i've set up. I cba wth that game mode any more. Still pissed they took out player manager. ONTOPIC: FIFA13 on PC is a Fail compared to how well it did with FIFA 12 they re-imagined FIFA on PC just look at the Difference between FIFA 10 and FIFA 11 and then FIFA 11 and FIFA 12 but this is just well.........FAIL!!! Sa fail FIFA 13 is a mess of bugs Invisible balls (I've joked that in future fifas you'll have to buy the ball separately) Penalties being given when no defender is in the box Unbalanced ai (though that seems much better this year) And the big ones - the 'easfc catalogue' crash at start screen, caused by - you guessed it - created content (eas solution is to delete all your savegame data) is just a new face on 11 and 12's unpatched UGC bug And the new gameface bug. Having gameface causes crashing when loading any game. Then there's the online issues like overpowering defenders and the joke that is the be a gk - the controls are so clumpy it's almost unplayable at times. A shuffle left sees the gk move by about three feet, I've even had him dive the wrong way (I press left he goes right) or when I press left, he moves right THEN dives It's a good game - an improvement on 12, but as always the bugs let it down I'm still annoyed that 'edit players in career mode' doesn't allow edition CC players - I've got I restart my career mode because the game randomly changed someone's boots to eas ugly ass ones! You said it brah, when i Downloaded the Demo it was the WORST F***** Demo in GAMING HISTORY you couldn't set the mouse controls off (I also use the X360 Controller) This time EA showed how much idiotic they couldve gone and the worst of them all ORIGIN ORIGIN. Got a fairly decent UT team: --------------------------Marchetti-------------------------- -Lichsteiner------Samuel-------Barzagli------De Ceglie- -------------------------------------------------------------- -------Montolivo-----------Pirlo--------Nocerino----------- ---------------------------------------------------------------- -----Palacio------------------------------Giovinco----------- ---------------------------Milito------------------------------ And I'm currently in my 2nd season of CM, managing Hamburg in the Bundesliga. I won the Deutscher Pokal in my first season and finished 4th, I'm in the semi final of the Champions League and 3 points off 1st in the league, but with only 4 games left it's not looking too good n I think Dortmund are gonna win it. It's about 50/50 with me Some times by the time I get to a match I cba anymore I also want to know why that in player career my custom entrance music doesn't work yet in ever other mode it does Edit - the music assigned to my pro was overwriting it - in this case the 'default' pro music overwriting 'gonna fly now' Edit 2 - FIFA have completely ruined the pro. Now you have to unlock everything with your pro, twice or more. Unlock boots or gloves online and you have to do it again offline. Completely regarded. I can not be bothered with that mode anymore. Hell I'm contemplating goin back to 12 for that. Gameplay has already gotten stale for me. Perhaps it's the problems I've had with CC gameface, pro career and music, easfcc, and the usual crashes everything I try to do anything. I really do think any unlocks you get with your online pro should be unlocked for all offline pros (but not vice versa unless we're talking kit or appearance) Why do ea have a hard in for locking 75% of their game? I understand pro progression one line (something that won't happen for me now as thanks to ea playing online is not an option*), but year after year were stupid enough to do the same crap to unlocked same stuff again and again. FIFA groundhogday * I play online infrequently and when I do it's clubs - sometimes on pitch but often in goal. Now ea have separated the online and offline pros, I have no choice but to stay as a gk / I simply dont have the time to play it every day (nor would I want to) and with me no longe having the ability to grow offline (note note boost**) ill end up plsying on pitch as a low dated pro against a team of high rated ones. There's just no point, like a fat kid racing usain bolt. ** I played offline pro career A LOT in 12 and it made my pro good, through playing not 'boosting' even with a pro rated 88/90, I still struggled to score etc. it angers me how ea have completely taped the casual online gamer in this sense. Posted October 19, 2012 Share Posted October 19, 2012 well this is cool. the game is pretty much frozen on the "loading" screen as i'm trying to join an online team game. oh, and did i mention i can hear all the f*cktards mumbling into the their microphones and there's nothing i can do about it but mute my own sound? lame. this game is lame. there's no "mute all" option. that's really f*cking lame. enough of the rantyness; i'm just not enjoying it like i used to. granted, it's probably just because i really suck at the game, but the controls don't feel responsive at all and i'm finding it frustratingly difficult to actually take control of play like i want to. I just don't understand why they would remove private leagues, either. Honestly, I can't think of one good reason to do so. Did they just forget about it? The one thing that's really annoyed me about the game is that there's no way to play online against default teams without people's customisations, and hand in hand with that, no ranked way to play normal games versus randoms. Probably when I really need a win or so. What I always do is the 'Shush..' celebration and the 'Can you hear me?' for the finisher. Also don't skip your goal highlight. I have to redownload my online pass every day because its corrupt - a bug that has existed since they introduced the f*cking thing I also have to load the game without an Internet connection or it'll crash on start up I get crashes after online games And why the f*ck can't they fix the lobby? You wait two mins for everyone to stop farting about in team select for so done to steal your position. They have the position select merged so if your position is taken, you can't join. I think you could have pushed on another 10-15 million, (if you wanted to sell). but I will only sell for enough to buy messi, like in fifa 12, until then I keep him, so my counter of 85m was met with a 70m and i went "f*ck off real madrid" games seem to take much longer, same settings they just seem to take longer, like 20 minutes not 15... 6-1 away to real madrid 8-0 at home to city and 9-0 away to west ham yeah sounds right. Also managed to get Joe Cole back, from a very rude liverpool, and also signed Figuroa and Shawcross, as well as a long battle for Ben Arfa. MEdia slated me for spending! I didn't get Al Habsi in the end though, Wigan ignored my offer completely and Liverpool stole him. Will have to thrash Liverpool now. But Torres/Donovon was a straight swap, £0, but I felt the team needed a shake up. Lampard is immense though. I've also now signed Steve Morrison from Norwich on deadline day.
