how many packs did you get for that? quite a nice team must have had a few good lucky packs

Only had one Gold pack, which had Iraola in. Been doing a lot of single player leagues and cups, can earn a lot of money. Had to play with my bronze players for a while but with Amateur cups and stuff it's not so hard. 500 coins per game when you win, with big bonuses for winning em.

 

Martinez and Busquets were both fairly expensive; the rest of the team were bought for less than 1000 coins each.

 

No longer buying Gold packs until I'm swimming in coin. I only ever get sh*te in them. Better to save up and pay a premium for the quality players.

Adding that to what I already had got me up to over 100,000 grand. Built a team around Yaya Toure. Not the greatest because I got them all in 4-1-2-1-2.

Was kinda thinking the same thing, I think there is a way, not sure, but I think we play across different platforms so, it wouldn't work that well

Yeah the GTAF league doesn't really work out for that very reason. Nonetheless, I've actually taken time to create a team this year via Creation Centre and I'd very much like to compete with them in some kind of organized online league/tournament, but as far as i can tell it's impossible to play online with them except for the random H2H matches

I've been given this game (and I've glitches/ fluked my way to having my CC contet work

 

But it appears you can't an longer play with your pro OUTSIDE of career mode

 

Skill games you can not use your pro. Also it will appear online against friends on cant either

Anyway here are a list of issues I've seen/heard of so far

 

-crashing in career mode seems to be common.

-I've had the game crash on main menu

-game crashed midway through second half of my first game. I WAS 4-0 down but it still angered me

-Pro can not be used for skill games. I have no interest in playing them as anyone other than myself

- pros can only be used online or in career mode. Kick off, be a player/gk etc they can not

-pro also can not be used in arena

- my well documented creation centre issues*

- ea are still charging for use of creation centre content

- goalkeepers animation is too wooden and sticky. Blasted shots from close range are caught simply, sometimes parried but every keeper (even my debuted pro) seems to be made of glue

-CUSTOM AUDIO is not working. Menu music comes on but no entrance music is heard, no chants are heard and no goal songs either.

-Easfc refuses to connect despite a valid and active internet connection

-Unlocks is the eafc catalogue are disabled if there is no connection to easfc servers

-my usual complaints about virtual pro unlockables (this is personal opinions to be fair)

-player manager is no longer in the game.

-virtual pros can not be used in manager mode in career mode (only player mode)

- generic gk kits are still in abundance, though there is now more that look decent

- gk kits still lack sponsors etc

- customisation is still an afterthought, and feels clumsy (CC, create a player etc)

-ultimate team has loads of reported errors and bugs

- loading times feel long

- still no ability to edit squad numbers outside of career mode

-stadiums - some new ones but still no climate control. Apparently, a match played in 'Los santos' will be played in snow.

 

There are some goods though, in the bread unfinished matches I've had

 

-first touch errors is a nice feature - blessedly with the ability to tweak it via the customisation sliders

-CPU attacking AI seems to exist. Playing as gk i had plenty of varied shots to deal with

-gks seems to react more - I had a shot I didn't see, stopped it with my knee then pounced on it. Sometimes they feel too overpowered though. Sliders may help

-CPU manage (player career) seems to be able to make squad selections, thoug if this actuslly proves an improvement over 12 (CPU would simply play the default 'best' team with no variation and make the same substitutes every game) well have to see

-crowd sfx seems to have had an overhaul. It sounds better but still lacks custom chants

-plenty of good gk gloves for use in game, thoug whether pros can use tree will be found out when I eventually unlock them (see above list - I hate these aesthetic unlocks as I don't play 50 games per day so probably wont ever unlock them)

-commentary feels fresh but still needs complete redoing

-commentators now have more to say - played a game with stevenage and unheard them comment on the teams recent rise up the leagues

- it seems as though any career mode match can be 'locked to player' - having a mate play could be interesting

*despite it not working my new kit colours (why is pumas new kit style not on there?) seem to have actuslly taken effect. I am still unable to edit players appears few though

It kind of still is, I think. If you do a normal manager mode, when you start a game there's an option to lock to a single player, essentially recreating the player manager mechanic? The only thing you'd then lose out on is a screen tracking the individual player's stats through his career, but in terms of playability I assume it's the same.

 

Oh, also if you switch clubs you would have to buy the player separately.

Did the same the other day. Bought something like 55 gold packs over the last few days. Honestly though, I'm p bummed. I got Podolski as well, along with Joe Hart, Ferdinand, Lucio, Berbatov and a handful of other decent players. But I figured I'd fare a bit better overall. No real big money players...

 

I'm still sitting on Podolski and Hart, but between the cash injection from the other players I sold and playing my ass off, I've put together a decent team so far. Playing a 4-3-3 right now...

Hulk is a stone cold killer in FUT...he's piggybacking my squad so far. Toni at a 75 has been awesome too. You can probably pick him up for 650 or less. Been pretty disappointed with De Rossi though, and I was thinking of making a run at Yaya to replace him. It sucks though, all the kickass players cost an arm and a leg in auctions. Buffon is like 60k right now, and the in form Pepe's are going for 90k plus. Crazy.

No because your pro can not be used in career manager mode. Sure I could take control of say lampard, and manage Chelsea but its my pro I'm wanting to play as/with

In 12 I assigned my mates to my local team and the played the career - a kind of fantasy game mode

I am unable to load any save games. This game is no longer a game but a ugly paperweight

I have seen a mystery player in my team in the transfer screen (main menu/edit teams) , no name, which was strange.

Started new manager mode and looked at the team and that mystery player seems to be my online pro :S

 

Career mode wasnt kept because all the players' hair is the wrong colour so i need to edit that but oh wait, CC doesnt work :@

 

 

 

Loading game crash was solved (for now) by deleting my Gameface. WTF is that about.

I haven't got the takeover at all, no freeze, and I am reading you can only use it once, so 3-4 times total cos it is ther 304 times in the catalogue ffs EA you f*cking screwed me here. c*nts.

thye should release a patch that fixes this, activates any such bonuses that went unactivated

You can only use it once per season I think, so if you have used it on another save, you can't use it on another save. (I think)

FIFA 13 is a mess of bugs

Invisible balls (I've joked that in future fifas you'll have to buy the ball separately)

Penalties being given when no defender is in the box

Unbalanced ai (though that seems much better this year)

And the big ones - the 'easfc catalogue' crash at start screen, caused by - you guessed it - created content (eas solution is to delete all your savegame data) is just a new face on 11 and 12's unpatched UGC bug

And the new gameface bug. Having gameface causes crashing when loading any game.

 

Then there's the online issues like overpowering defenders and the joke that is the be a gk - the controls are so clumpy it's almost unplayable at times. A shuffle left sees the gk move by about three feet, I've even had him dive the wrong way (I press left he goes right) or when I press left, he moves right THEN dives

 

It's a good game - an improvement on 12, but as always the bugs let it down

 

I'm still annoyed that 'edit players in career mode' doesn't allow edition CC players - I've got I restart my career mode because the game randomly changed someone's boots to eas ugly ass ones!

What is even with that, some are like 30-40 seconds long. Why not just have them come on without any loading like PES.

 

Not bought the game but i was around my cousins the other day and spent a good few hours playing 1 on 1 and 2 on 1 online with another friend. Great fun, really liking this one although that finesse shot has been proper nerfed, still scored a proper belter from outside the box though .

 

What's peoples play styles? do you like to pass it around and keep possession or is it just pass to a fast winger and leg it down the wing? Possession football in the game seems so enjoyable.
