neato9611 Posted May 2, 2012 Share Posted May 2, 2012 Throughout the III era, there were numerous cameo appearances and side stories involving the protagonists and characters from other games in that canon. Do you guys suspect that GTA:V will take place in the same canon as IV? Seeing as how Los Santos has not been done in the re-envisioned GTA universe I would like to see some crossovers from GTA:IV. It would be interesting to see what has played out since the events in IV and what brings the characters to LS. Anyone else wanting to see any IV characters pop up? There's no point in bringing back a whole bunch of IV characters, I'd much prefer a whole new set of characters, with maybe the odd reference. If they did that from the beginning, all you would get is GTA III characters in every game and those new characters you love, CJ for example, would've never been created. With IV I'm sure some characters might make a cameo appearance or something, Packie and Niko both did have plane tickets to San Andreas so who knows.
