MIDEVL Posted October 23, 2012 Share Posted October 23, 2012 Suggestion... Finding a small, unused SA:MP server... or doing it on LIVE... Start a mock trial event. Much like the one you had planned, and in this, have a judge, defendant, plaintiff, the respective lawyers, and possibly a jury. Also make it either a lawsuit or a criminal case, much like the cases you make as occasional activities, except possibly consult someone who will have no involvement with the case to make it(much like a dungeon master, for comparison), so it's up to the lawyers to defend/convict the suspect depending on what questions they ask or what evidence there is... As in for evidence, the lawyers can consult with the creator of the case to inquire about evidence at the scene or at the defendant/victim's house, etc. What do you think? Case: Criminal / Family lawVictim: John Griffin John griffin a 46 year old man was coming home from a bar late midnight. When he was going towards his house he was shot dead one shot to the head. He has 1 wife and 3 children. 3 Years before he was killed He made a will. The will said He gives his $500.000 Estate to his wife. He gave his 3 children $25.000 Each. He signed it front of 2 witnesses. Also he signed the will at the top of the page. The day he was murdered he had a argument with his wife. Saying all I am is a house wife and you don't give me any money. John shouted well you stupid women when I die you will get this house so shut your mouth and go take the kids to school. 3 Witnesses: Wife Of John Girffin How long were you married to Mr.Griffin? I was married to My husband for 27 years. what are the name of the kids? Well I have 3 Kids 2 girls and 1 boy. Billy Amanda and Jane. Have you ever had a row with your husband? Yes we have had rows we had a argument the day he was shot dead. Were you comfortable living with your husband? Yes We lived a happy life but had our bad times to. No not all the time they are happy in front of us but Deep inside they hate each other to bits. I was going to school once and forgot my bag when I went towards the house door I heard screaming and shouting always talking about money. Did your father have any debts or problems you know about? No my father always payed the bills on time and mostly people came to him to borrow money. He used to be a Lawyer but quit because of allegations against him. Neighbour of Griffin FamilyPeter's family / Mr.peter Did you knows the Griffin Family well? Yes I did they were a very nice family but the son always had problems with the father. The Wife Mrs.Griffin was always talking about money. The 2 girls were the only nice thing about that family and Mr.griffin always was working hard and bought her gifts and took her out. Were you close with Mr.Griffin? Yes we use to work together in Anderson Law firm. He quit and I stayed. He was very smart and one of the best closer's the law firm ever had. This makes Billy suspicious that he was involved in his Murder. Billy states that people borrows money from his dad, The neighbour says that the wife always talks about Money, She was probably concerned or knew that he was getting into the wrong deals.. Maybe he did the wrong deal and ended up dead? Maybe at the bar he went to speak to some people about a deal and he refused to give them money, So they followed him back home and shot him dead. If Mrs. Griffin was always going on about money well Mr. Griffin Must of had some about of money to write that will Right. So he quit his Job for allegations of burying Evidence perhaps that Evidence was money that he didn't wan't people to know about. So we are going to leave all witnesses out of this because John Couldn't live the Guilt of burying evidence it was biting at him day after day after day so he wen't out in the night to Kill himself by a shot to the head. Do some research on what burying Evidence means in Law terms The judge said. 4. State Facts. 5. Also He was Murdered. If he killed himself then The we won't need to involve Criminal Law. 6. Does his wife have any criminal friends or backgrounds? Any blood money history? 2. He quit. 3. Whether he was or wasn't is up to the discretion of the Law Firm, and if they had not pressed charges, I see no reason to convict a corpse. 4. Yeah but criminal law would be involved because somebody has been shot. They don't know it was a murder or a suicide so they have to investigate.
