Sunrise Driver
Pity people are mentioning that overrated crap Undead Nightmare and not mentioning amazing South Central at all. It was a perfect DLC. For a price of 1/6, you get 1/4 of game - map, cars, challenges, music. Half a year after release, not half a month.

MP3 is a shooter-game, all shooters have the same DLC plans. People get bored killing each other on the same maps. GTA V dlc won't be the same type as MP3's. Nobody needs to worry about that. Sunrise Driver
Surely if you only put 4-6 maps like in MP3 then people are getting bored pretty quickly.

Right, which is why they are probably gonna do the small map DLCs... I don't really oppose the addition of new maps, I just dislike when they are overpriced, and they are all of the DLC you get. Or maybe there's a few weapons you have to buy... those aren't fun for the most part. Red Dead Redemption did bring some good stuff in, and I guess the DLCs weren't that overpriced, but it was annoying to have to buy so many things to be like the other players. They definitely made up for it though by releasing Undead Nightmare, and then releasing all of the DLCs on disc. I hope GTA V has an expansion pack or two big enough to be put on their own disc. Also, other games have shipped with 4-6 maps and never gotten any new ones.
Finn 7 five 11
If it's true we'll get more smaller DLCs for GTA, I don't see this as a bad thing for V because I doubt R* will once again release a GTA excluding features only to reintroduce them as new ones in DLCs as they did with IV. IF they do DLC, it will be for real this time. What? They most certainly did not remove things from IV and put it in the DLC. Yes they will probably follow the MP3 example, DLC is the new thing in gaming, get used to it.

Like when I used to play COD4 I could play shipment HQ for days.

IF they do DLC, it will be for real this time. GTAV seems like it's the real deal. It seems like R* is saying, "IV, it was an amazing game; but now we're going to show you what we can really do." Sorry, but R* didn't put all the things they were able to day in IV, because otherwise they wouldn't had enough content for their GTA IV DLCs. So why shouldn't they include e. g. a parachute in IV, when they already wrote the code etc. for this object in SA. Today R* is going to be more money-grubbing than in former times. I guess it is turning into a system like EA has had with the Sims. Buy the original game and all the 20+ expansion packs.
