GinoPinoy Posted April 30, 2012 Share Posted April 30, 2012 (edited) i created a model from scratch in 3dsmax9 when i played it in game the texture of the model looks like scramble eggs when i corrected the uv map and export it and put it in te game it still look like scramble eggs but weirder i repeated the process again but it still the same what is the correct process in uv map editing?? my game is gta san andreas and my 3d program is Autodesk 3ds Max 9 Edited April 30, 2012 by GinoPinoy Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

GinoPinoy Posted May 5, 2012 Author Share Posted May 5, 2012 i know now how to fix this i hope this will help someone in the future step one: click editable mesh step two: select the part of the model step three: detach that part step four: on the modifiers click unwrap uvw step five: click edit step six: fix the uv map to your liking step seven: convert it to editable mesh by right clicking and pick "convert to" step eight: attach it back to your model and your done Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
