If it WAS a gang story (witch is not going to happen) I think it'd be dope if it covered the latin gangs. There's the whole cartel connection that could be emphasized well, and Rockstar could elaborate well on. What'd be dope is is Los Santos was connected to mexico via the toll booth border system & you could travel to and from, then you'd have the best of all worlds. Country, LA city, south central gangs, then the mexico countryside, slums etc. Idk i think it'd be dope, but it's just not happening this time around There's not really a heavy Latin King presence out in LA but there are a lot of Mexican and other Hispanic gangs that they could parody. Yea, like JimJones said they're not really out in Cali, they might have a small presence but nothing noticeable. SoCal is dominated by Sur-13 which is a loose alliance of a bunch of different Chicano gangs that are linked to the Mexican Mafia. Also how could you call GTA IV a "fail" dumbass . GTA iv was a awesome game with pretty awesome characters, sure it didnt have real gangsters like in SA but thats only because the game was set in New York and it wasn't 1990s which was the years when gangsters were mostly common. Just the very first missions and the last missions were acceptable for a gangbanger, the entire game was bullsh*t. A pussy flying fighter jets, invading military bases, ships, flying around with jetpacks, oh wow, dis is SO gangstah. So, my answers is NO, I'd rather have a more serious and GTA-like story than an over-the-top-ganster-wannabe-bullsh*t like San Andreas was. That's exactly what I think. I'm moreso wondering about the protag. Not who he is, but what his status is in the game. Broke? Rich? It would be cool if the protag WAS part of an old gang, or Mafia. He moved to LS (If the dude talking in the trailer is the protag) to get away from that lifestyle, but he still has his old ways. Two gang members try to rob his Infernus but he kills both without a sweat. To me, that is MORE gangsta that a man that rocks colors and sags his jeans.
