Triple Vacuum Seal Posted April 30, 2012 Share Posted April 30, 2012 Actually, what I'd like to see is an LA Based biker gang, Rockstar shown how they could handle it with The Lost and Damned but expand that to Los Santos with a larger chapter who don't back stab each other and have built themselves up as a major gang who help and supply/work with other gangs, basically, SAMCRO. funny...because I just closed my tab 5 min ago where I just watched 3 consecutive SOA episodes. The Mexican cartels in real life are some diabolical motherf*ckers so I can't picture R* painting them in a sympathetic or positive light. I'd rather that we did some dirt for them for our own benefit but didn't really get down with their "cause" which seems to be get as much money as possible while doing the most heinous sh*t imaginable to secure it. You mean like the Mexican chainsaw beheading? I saw that a few weeks ago and couldn't believe my eyes. One of their main influences, though, from real life was the Outlaw Motorcycle club. And they are very wide spread, they even have chapters in Germany and the UK. I'm sure high-end fraudsters don't socialise with drug pushers, and whilst there may be criminal elements in my town, I don't associate with them. Like how in GTA 4, they glossed over the few missions with Manny where you had to kill members of the Spanish Lords? Yea, ok. Sorry but THERE WILL be missions where black and/or hispanic gang members are involved. I predict a mission or two where are to work with the leader of a gang (more than likely a Mexican gang, bringing in the involvement of the Cartel). Really though, I just hope we see an adequate amount of gang presence in certain parts of Los Santos, but not in the way GTA 4 had it. Just the very first missions and the last missions were acceptable for a gangbanger, the entire game was bullsh*t. A pussy flying fighter jets, invading military bases, ships, flying around with jetpacks, oh wow, dis is SO gangstah. So, my answers is NO, I'd rather have a more serious and GTA-like story than an over-the-top-ganster-wannabe-bullsh*t like San Andreas was. If it WAS a gang story (witch is not going to happen) I think it'd be dope if it covered the latin gangs. There's the whole cartel connection that could be emphasized well, and Rockstar could elaborate well on. What'd be dope is is Los Santos was connected to mexico via the toll booth border system & you could travel to and from, then you'd have the best of all worlds. We haven't had a Latin gangster(Luis was a lowly dope dealer with a couple of buddies) protagonist before. Nowadays when thinking LA gangs it's the latin gangs I think of.
