Like LCS and VCS. thats BS. they couldve had a story telling what happen in SA while CJ was in liberty city. Will Street Gangs Return? i mean we back in California. Niko and Luis was two lame protagonist. Playing as a Immigrant wanting a better life in America And a guy being the body guard of a gay dude. The biker i enjoyed because you was living the life of a Gang member/Criminal but the story was too short and not in depth. GTA IV was a Fail. but that was then this is now. i want to play as a Criminal of some kind of Street Gang or Organization. i want the Respect Meter Back in GTA i want to be able to do what we was able to do in GTA SA face it SA was the Best GTA Series. it was so Versatile. it was the life of a Gang Banger which i can relate to, but some could but they still enjoyed there inner Gangsta side lol. and if they aint wanna feel gangsta they had the country side to explore the hills to visit the desert to Dune the Slots to get rich. They're just as ruthless and savage as the next street guy they just hide it better because the nature of their business. I don't think this game will be "gangsta" themed, I think gangbangers will probably play a moderate to major role but won't be the center of the story at all. I'm surprised none of these guys who likes to ride the Mafia's dick hasn't made a completely racist statement by now though, maybe they're learning. Can't think of many gangbanger films to equal those popular in the early 90s smashing the box office right now or the last 5-years. That has been done, is still being done by Saints Row. And you will undoubtedly be able to play as a black gang banger in the free roam mode if you want. Maybe we'll get to play as different characters each from a different gang, and the story will be woven to show things from different perspectives. As far as I know, the concept of street gangs is a very ancient one, and it certainly did not start with gangsta rap and hip hop culture. So, if that is the message you are trying express, then I must say you sound a trifle silly and foolish. Reality check HOMIE, street gangs or ANY other gangs are generally just what they are supposed to be - criminal brotherhoods/fraternities with a shared, common set of goals and aims, namely to commit illegal activities in the name of financial gain and power. The main purpose of street gangs was never about being what they are to look or sound 'cool' or being 'in fashion'. Come on, stop being stupid, you are much more intelligent than that. The Mexican cartels in real life are some diabolical motherf*ckers so I can't picture R* painting them in a sympathetic or positive light. I'd rather that we did some dirt for them for our own benefit but didn't really get down with their "cause" which seems to be get as much money as possible while doing the most heinous sh*t imaginable to secure it. An independent contractor like Niko is much like a shark; a gang is more like a school of piranha. Yeah, a school of piranha is intimidating, but each individual is just a little fish that could never make it on its own. As for V having a Gang themed story? I don’t see it happening, yeah odds are they will be featured to an extent of course, but nothing major, as other people have said gangs as waned in the last few years, just nothing but squabbling between them selves now some of them are still making money and such though the drug trade so gangs like that will be involved in the story of course, I can also see cartels playing a big role in the game too, seeing as cartels pretty much control the drug trade now a days. Maybe we’ll see a street gang basically being runners for the cartel, you know a small cog in a whole organization. So yeah we'll see them, maybe work for them, but at this time, I'm seeing more of an independant contractor so to speak like Niko or Tommy being the protag, like Tommy in the sense that he's going to take it all over, like Niko in the sense that he'll be doing jobs for everyone else for about half the game to get money to take over. I can imagine the main character doing little jobs like robbery, drug dealing, gang shooting for a Mexican OG. Then the OG takes you to this underboss for more work. The protag walks in a cellar and sees the underboss chainsawing a guy's head off. Blood on him, the underboss drops the chainsaw walks over to the protag and calmly introduces himself.
