unknown2u2a
I have 2 problems with GTA San Andreas. The first one is the famous mouse problem where it's stuck and when I press ESC a few times it's ok. I am using Windows XP SP3 32bit and I read that it's common in Windows 7/Vista... I tried running in Compatibility Mode Windows 98 and i got the Visual C++ error so i can't even play the game.. I tried removing the .set file and it didn't help either. I even tried uninstalling my mouse in Device Manager and restarted Windows... The second problem is that sometimes when I press ESC the screen goes black and i can't do anything. When I press CTRL+ALT+DEL or the windows button I see the cursor and that's it. Nothing helps. My graphics card is Nvidia Geforce 8800 GTS. My computer is above all the recommended system requirements. I updated all of my drivers and still didn't help. Can someone please help me??? lil weasel
Which Version did you buy? Are you playing with the Original DVD in the Drive? Did you mod the game in any way? When posting a problem, please, include the following information about your computer: • Operating system (if you have XP, Vista, or Win7 and which Service Pack(s) is installed) • Processor? • Video Graphics card type? • How much graphics memory, and is it Dedicated or Shared? • RAM (random access memory)? This information may also help to identify your problem.
unknown2u2a
OS: Windows XP Service Pack 32bit Processor: Intel Core 2 Duo E6750 2.66GHz RAM: 2048MB Graphics Card: Nvidia Geforce 8800 GTS 640MB I downloaded the game. It's the European version. I updated patch 1.01 which is supposed to take care of some bugs apparently. Other than that I didn't install any mods. I also used the memory leak solution and added -memrestrict 681574400 to the shortcut Edited April 29, 2012 by unknown2u2a
Girish
Where did you download the game from? AFAIK, the version 1 copy of the game is not available anywhere, legitimately. You can only get v2 copies that do not require the v1.01 patch.
unknown2u2a
Downloaded it from thepiratebay a version that includes ENG-ITA-DEU-FRA-ESP and also includes Alcohol 120% (though I didn't need it). So are you suggesting uninstalling the patch would solve the problems???
Girish
Sorry dude, but we cannot help you if you have a pirated copy of the game. Please buy the game and if you still face any issues, we'll gladly help you out.
