Jewstinian
It's 2012, Los Santos, West Coast. Won't happen. I hate country music, but why not? People listen to country music. In 2012. In L.A. That's like saying there will be no white people in the game if gangs are included. Actually I think it wouldn't fit in the atmosphere. I do like country music, but since GTA V is more serious than GTA:SA was, and the setting is nowadays, I don't think Rockstar will make a whole station to country music. But nobody knows. They did say the surrounding countrysides, right? Why not? After all, we are visiting the wind turbines. (Which is in a countryside)
Jamie Smith
She's from County Tyrone in Ireland and shes been in Country since the late 60's. And i think this song would give that country feeling in GTA V Philomena Begley - Queen of The Silver Dollar:
Wannabe in LS
A crossover station that covered genres like country, blues, rockabilly and other raw forms of rock and roll would be ideal, if there's cars and bikes that fit that aesthetic. Some good road music.
GlaswegianOutlaw
I'd honestly love a Classic Punk and Hardcore radio station - merged together, I mean. I hate how L.C.H.C. originally had Hardcore (AKA modern punk), but in TLAD they changed it to Death metal and Thrash metal. I want The Clash, The Stranglers, Dropkick Murphys, Sick of it all ect. Mister Pink
lol i find it kind of weird that an italian would like American country music though America is the coolest and everyone tries to copy our style Get over yourself you typical yank. I'm joking! Yes, I'd like some Country music as it fits with the desert style (sort of) and countryside. GTA's music is supposed to reflect the surroundings. kasparlaks
Indeed, as a country music fan myself, I'd like to hear country from different artists while driving in the countryside. I'd like to hear, Loretta Lynn (some of you might remember her song Louisiana Woman, Mississippi Man on K-Rose) Tammy Wynette, Peggy Sue Wright, And Crystal Gayle, I must sadly say, I believe Peggy Sue won't be there, cuz she's not so famous. But I keep my hopes up for Tammy Wynette and Loretta Lynn. I hope there won't be any nowaday-countrymusic, such as countrypop.
Lewligan
I remember K-Rose being my "most listened to" radio station for the majority of SA. Not a fan of country music usually, but it grew on me as the game went on... hilarious listening! And to be honest, the country tunes became a bit of a guilty pleasure. Can genuinely say I might have occasionally sang along to "all my ex's live in Texas.."

I don't really like country music much but I'm not gonna bash the genre like everyone did on the Rap Music topic. I actually kinda enjiyed the country station in San Andreas. packardcaribien
I'm a fan of classic country (not a huge fan, and I hate modern country) so I'd like a new K-Rose but pragmatically I think it would be very realistic, especially if places like Palomino Creek, Dillimore, Montgomery, Angel Pine, and Blueberry are returning. Maybe they could tone down the hick stereotypes a little (In SA, all the NPCs in the countryside either wore cowboy boots ore had deformities from inbreeding) it would certainly bump up realism. Even not counting the countryside, country is big in the US so a lot of city folk listen to it. A cursory search I just did on the web just turned up 5 country music stations in the greater LA area, outnumbering the Latin stations and having about half as many stations as talk radio and rock. 1 station is not much to ask. I'm a huge fan of country myself. I like some Tammy Wynette(2 sparrows in a hurricane) and Loretta(coal miners daughter). Wille nelson called Conway Twitty "twitter". That's why I wrote it that way lol. We call Dixie Chicks 'Dixie Bitches'. Any old country is fine by me. The new stuff like Toby Keith and that dumb idiot Trace Atkins. I can't handle him at all. I'd rather hear a fat girl fart(pinkard & bowden) than hear him. I'd like satellite radio and have a huge mix. Like hair metal station and Willie's place. The music in GTA just keeps getting bigger and bigger so I'd say this time it will be incredible. I hope.
