TUN3R
Pretty much what it says. The cutscenes are zoomed in and they also look kinda' blurry... This happens only in IV, the EFLC cutscenes look and play perfectly. I have both GTA IV and EFLC on Steam and fully updated, no mods or anything (except a few minor things I made myself). I've had this problem for a while. I can't find the source of it because in the meantime I've changed my graphics card, re-formated the PC several times, got a bigger monitor (tried changing resolutions, the cutscenes are zoomed in on all of them) and got four more GB of RAM. I heard the problem might be update 1.3 but I doubt it since my game was already 1.7 when the problem occurred and was 1.7 for quite some time before the problem. PC specs: Intel Core i5-661 3.33 GHZ (2 cores), bloody nightmare. 8GB DDR3 RAM GigaByte GeForce GTX-550 Ti 1GB Windows 7 Ultimate 64bit, up to date but no service pack. Well maintained. I think the problem might have occurred after I upgraded to 64bit OS but I'm not sure. Ideas?

YankeesPwnMets
Go to Steam, right click GTA IV, click on Properties, Local Files, then click on Verify Game Cache
TUN3R
no mods or anything (except a few minor things I made myself). what mods? either there are modifications to the game or none at all. Edited the weaponsinfo file to disable the ammo cap. Also added (not replaced) 20 vehicles from TLAD and TBOGT. I tried with and without mods I don't see why it matters... plus I did the same thing with EFLC. I ran the Steam check and it found two invalid files, which are most likely the weaponsinfo and default files I edited. EDIT: And of course it replaced them... great. unc13bud
as i suspected weaponsinfo may be controlling the zoom? http://www.gtaforums.com/index.php?showtopic=456863 http://www.gtaforums.com/index.php?showtopic=467551 gta iv and eflc are different. its why to instal eflc, its an additional 16gb of data to install. TUN3R
Are you like, serious? I tried with and without mods I don't see why it matters... plus I did the same thing with EFLC. Plus weapons and cutscenes have nothing to do with eachother. The ''zoom'' you and those threads are referring to is the weapon zoom. Completely unrelated. unc13bud
well do you... gta iv definitely changes game settings just because someone uninstalled some sweeping modifications to their installation (SARCASM) [/done]

Do you even know what re-formatting means? Know what, forget it, I have a better chance at Yahoo Answers.
