jaky2008
Great, but without the time limit until the tsunamai and the whole "get to Mt. Chilliad" thing. I hate when games or DLC's are ruined by limitations (Undead Nightmare - no free roam in MP as an example.)

I hate when games or DLC's are ruined by limitations (Undead Nightmare - no free roam in MP as an example.) That's why consoles are holding games back, if you hadn't been living under a rock all this time you would have known. A funny fact is that its the "almighty" PS3 that is holding back games the most. Gege
Cool story, bro. Why not have zombie dogs attacking the city while black plague spreading all over Los Santos?

Gtaghost22
Nice idea, a mode like that could be alot of fun if done right, maybe they could release it as a DLC with some new missions, weapons? could be fun

EscoLehGo
Can someone explain to me why people are less freaked out about this idea than the zombie one? It's a freaking apocalypse DLC, that makes literally no sense to me, that has absolutely NOTHING to do with GTA. This is weird
73duster
I won't bash the idea, but i've had my fill of vampires and zombies to last a lifetime. It seems like Vampires and zombies have been beaten to death between television, movies and video games. We had Zombies in RDR as a dlc, and i liked it, but at some point enough is enough. Where'd that come from? Living under a rock? I prefer PC overt consoles... I stand corrected. He wasn't talking about technical limitations like graphics or processing power. He meant arbitrary restrictions on the gameplay like time-limits, removal of free-roam elements, etc. which are especially noticeable (and often irritating) in sandbox games. That has very little to do with the platform(s) the game is on. Anyway, buildings collapsing and floods and stuff would just seem kind of silly to me. Moreso than usual for a GTA game. I remember there being a bonus mission in True Crime: New York where you had to navigate from one end of the map to the other with EVERYBODY armed and trying to kill you. Something like that would be a neat challenge, especially if the map is huge enough to make it interesting. But that still seems like something more suited to a few cheat codes than an entire DLC or game mode. Edited May 1, 2012 by The_Mario_Man
_SMOKEY_
there doesn't have to be a time limit for the tsunami, it could happen sometime during the storyline

DeafMetal
Yeah, just like Undead Nightmare, only it's not zombies. Good topic, man. +1 I liked Undead Nightmare 10x more than either of the GTAIV DLC. Combined. Hell, throw in zombies, werewolves, vampires, aliens, and Madonna for sh*ts and giggles. The more the merrier.
