btbwuh
@xNewtype Acex: At no point did I say I didn't know what GFWL meant, but rather when one uses an uncommon abbreviation (or even one they made up) and doesn't explain what it means for those who don't. That's what bugs me. And then the abbreviation they do use can have more than one meaning, and sometimes either meaning could make sense in the context, so IMO it would be easier and wiser if the author of the post just takes the few seconds to write it out. And yes, I wrote IMO on purpose. Which means 'in my opinion' btw. Now don't get me wrong either I do agree, he should have explain what GFWL meant since most people here are console users, however my point is that writing this: It pisses me off how people are too lazy to spend an extra 2 second typing out the full word instead of the abbreviation, for the people that do not know what the hell the abbreviation is. Is gonna take you longer than actually googling the goddamn thing, and yes sometimes abbreviations mean different things, but I think it is quite obvious that in the context the OP is using it, it would refer to something video game related. Oh, OP is original poster by the way, but I'm sure you already knew that. Okay, I see your point. And yes, I do know what OP means
Honest Bill
Yeah i hear you all about how lazy we are that we couldn't search it.. That's not the point. He could have typed 'games for windows live' which is just as quick as everyone else googling it. Why is it up to me to understand the content? I could easily have gone about my day without it, if you post a topic in a public discussion forum, you obviously have something you want to communicate. He could just as easily have written a haiku and we all have to decipher his meaning, but it would be impractical. Communication only works when we have agreed upon definitions for words. And it didn't need to be in the title, just written out once (the first time) and all subsequent confusion and need for everybody to google, would have been eliminated.. Is it really that hard to establish what exactly you are talking about in a post? And yes the guy can express himself any way he so chooses, but then so can I. It is a two way street. Lefteris
Alright guys, I apologise. Added the abbreviations meanings in the first post. Please stop arguing about that

mkey82
He could just as easily have written a haiku and we all have to decipher his meaning, but it would be impractical. If you want to understand, you delve deeper. If not, move on. The guy with the content of his topic aimed at personal computer gamers, there are no abbreviations in this sentence, how come you can't understand it? I know gaming in this day and age is all about being railroaded, led by hand with giant popups warning you about sh*t on every freaking corner, but GTAF doesn't have to be like that, does it? Da Perzinga
In my opinion GFWL is useless. The only online thing that was a little bit interesting was social club.
