_Rob_
Yes before anyone says it, copying Nintendo. But in reality it's just a genre that hasn't been explore very much, and it's great to see something happening with older somewhat forgotten Playstation characters. Today marks a special day for us here at SuperBot Entertainment, as we finally get to share our game with the world! PlayStation All-Stars Battle Royale existed as an idea in the hearts of gamers way before SuperBot got around to making it, and the expectations of the fans are really what drive us. This game is a labor of love, and we’re excited to be able to finally show it — learn more in our new video interview above. So what is PlayStation All Stars Battle Royale? First and foremost, it’s a celebration of a storied history of great characters and rich worlds brought together in one game. And for us, there’s no better way to celebrate than by creating an experience that players can sit around one screen and enjoy together. There are probably a few types of games that can be enjoyed by four players simultaneously, but for us at SuperBot, a brawler was the obvious choice for one really good reason: the developers here at SuperBot really like fighting games. We love playing them and we love making them. With PlayStation All-Stars Battle Royale, we set out to make an experience accessible enough for all PlayStation fans to enjoy while also creating something deep enough for the serious fighting game aficionado. We think this “accessible yet deep” strategy is the perfect way to bring PlayStation fans of all stripes together. The game features a number of cool game modes for both single and multiplayer, with a focus on online play which features a robust tournament mode. Players will be able to compete against each other as well as play cooperatively. We can’t wait for you all to try it for yourself. Until then, please stay tuned; there are plenty more features, characters, and levels we want to show. And you definitely don’t want to miss what we’ve got in store for E3! Pagelzilla
I do think this looks fun. However, it really doesn't have to look THIS close to Super Smash Brothers, right? I honestly thought this was a good photoshop job when I saw the screenshots. It's a blatant rip-off.
KilnerLUFC
Yes, a bltant rip-off, even down to the style of graphics being used within the game, but meh, why not? Personally, if I had a PS3, I'd be hyped for the release of this game. The only thing they need to concentrate on is putting their own original ideas into the game and setting this game apart from SSBB. Any sign of a character list yet? Moth
For me it's SSB with characters I know and care about. I'm not Mario's biggest fan. Formerly known as The General
thatstupidbug
i tought the topic was about a possible sequel to WWE all stars (great, underrated game)... not interested in this game, unless there's a gta guy by the way, the logo of this "battle royale" is very similar to the early WWE logo
Alick
Quite looking forward to this. It has characters I actually know and like, I'm not a Nintendo fan at all so I'll have more characters to chose instead of just Sonic/Solid Snake.
darthYENIK
It looks damn close to SSB. But that's not a bad thing. It looks like they've added enough features to the SSB formula to take it above a pure rip-off.

Ash_735
Thanks to the miracle of Facebook, I got in contact with a few old people involved in the industry: First off, Josh Mancell, who was the composer for Naughty Dog during the Crash bandicoot and Jak & Daxter games has told me that he's given a Jak & Daxter 1 Master Track to the Studio where it's being remixed for a stage based on the first Jak & daxter game. Second, Dred Foxx has confirmed he's recording for the game, who is Dred Foxx? Well he's the voice of PaRappa the Rapper!

Typhus
We need Akuji! Anyone remember this guy? Akuji was a Voodoo priest who had his heart ripped out on his wedding day. He had to fight through Hell to return to his wife. One of the darkest, most memorable Playstation characters ever.

ccrogers15
As possibly THE biggest MediEvil fan, that news is music to my ears. I loved the series. The second was awesome. it baffles me to see how Medievil 1 and the PSP remakes on PSN, but the second is not on PSN. It was great.
