deathdiggerswe Posted April 27, 2012 Share Posted April 27, 2012 In February 13th, Rockstar Games wrote, in A&A, that they'd release new details about the game "in a few months time". My thought, since this forum has gone mad with doubtful leaks and rumours, is that they we will have to wait a bit longer than that.... Why? Technically, we have received information about GTA V, in R*s interview with IGN about the so called "Crews" (that are to retain over and between some of R* games biggest franchises - MP3 for example) Did R* count this as "info" or not. Do they now have an excuse to wait even longer? Another significant question is <i>why</i> they would do this to the fans. Why would they want their fans to keep waiting? The most likely, and discussed reason, has been the release of MP3, but i highly doubt that the only reason for this gap, has been the MP3 marketing. What if GTA V has been delayed and is being released even further away down the road? What do you think? Am i way off here, or do i have a valid concern? Rhoda Posted April 27, 2012 Share Posted April 27, 2012 We won't know if the game has been delayed until R* announce it has, like they did with IV. Because we have no idea on the scale of things, we can't possibly predict if there's been a hiccup somewhere along the line. I don't think it's fair to say that R* are wronging us by not revealing information either. I'm not going to blindly defend them because of the board we're posting on, and nor am I going to big them up unnecessarily, but they know exactly what they're doing when it comes to marketing. The longer people salivate, the better, and unfortunately there are people who take the wait as something negative and make ludicrous demands and threats in the name of getting just a sliver of information.
