Algonquin Assassin
V would be crushed by games like: Call of Duty Halo 4 Little Big Planet 3 Sniper 2 Alpha Protocol 2 Saints Row 4(probably about even in sales) And probably a few others IMO LOL, stop trolling please The fact he said GTA V would even with SR4 in sales made me laugh. The first 3 games could barely match GTA IV. What chance would SR4 have? (I'm talking about sales before any fanboy tries to be a smart ass) Saints Row isn't as popular as it's made out to be. Slamman
Isn't Alpha Protocol a mod for another game? I'm not that aware either, but anyway. GTA hasn't made it to a pop can from Mountain Dew yet, so they aren't the undisputed kings, sad to say
Intstringeger
I don't even plan to get those other games, not at release nor later, but I've been looking forward to GTA V ever since the "Liberty City is over" message.

Triple Vacuum Seal
The secrets lay within the Youtube views it's sad to say but Call of duty MW3 trailer has more views then GTAV The GTA trailer has been out 5-6 months, and will have 16 million views next week. The MW3 trailer has been out for over 11 months, and 22 million views. *It's too early to tell on the trailer views. Maybe not in the first few months GTAV will outsell COD9, but in the long run it will w/o a doubt. "shut up, sit down, relax"

This is a very smart video created by activations. But anyways, personally i haven't bought a game since RDR last year. I don't plan on buying any game but GTA V. I don't think any game is capable of going up against GTA V. The closest is COD. Not only is the GTA name very well known, but Rockstar's marketing strategy's are some of the best, if not the best, in the gaming industry. You can scroll through the comments from several weeks back (I didn't bother going further), yet it says the video has only been out for a week. Colonel Dre
People forget that no GTAs were released when CoD took gaming over. I think that's pretty important to realize when we talk about this IMO.(DLCs dont count) Dude i havent bought a new video game since RDR. IV before that. I refuse to spend 60$ on these FPS rehash games, 60$ is a week of gas lol. When Halo4 comes out, different story. Too many overrated, overpriced, sh*t games. TBoGT has more features than MW3. This years a pain in the ass i have to get another job if gtaV is released with acIII, H4, and sleepin dogs.... You say you don't play rehashed FPS or overrated, overpriced, sh*t games. Yet you will buy AC III and Halo 4. LMFAO

The first Alpha Protocol sucked and Saints Row the Third was a fail. The fourth might be the same

GTA hasn't made it to a pop can from Mountain Dew yet, so they aren't the undisputed kings, sad to say No, Alpha Protocol is a "Spy RPG" that well, was pretty much received with "God this game sucks a crossed the board" surprised Obsidian (I think that's who made it which is odd seeing as they did amazingly with New Vegas) is even considering making a sequel. Well that is if they are making one, the publisher could have had someone else devlop the game, but honestly why try I've heard nothig but horrible things about it. About the pop can thing, I hope you're being sarcastic right? Because odds are the publishers and devlopers of those games just pay to get their games on there, like EA published and/or devloped games tending to show up on Dr. Pepper (like ME2, the The Run, BF3, and others). Don't forget that there's another GTA5 trailer on YouTube with about 4 or 5 million views I think, making the total amount of views for GTAV about 20 million. And we must not also forget that the trailer was released on Rockstar's website where probably millions of people saw the trailer for the first time so not everyone had to see it on YouTube. (I don't know if the trailer for MW3 was released directly on YouTube or the official site) Edited April 28, 2012 by Vormek
