Trying to bring the server inline with there strict guidelines so it doesn't get blacklisted. @ lightning strike you have a bus sweet! I know right it's awesome, I might just set up a public transport service, I'll need bodyguards though, hmmm .... I wonder if the bandits that I killed and left to die would be happy to help me with that...... No they seem intent on trying to find me through chat. OysterBarron Posted July 1, 2012 Share Posted July 1, 2012 Does anyone have experience in server configs i need to change the server name to conform with standards, so instead of just server in the server list its [uK25] dayz [1.7.1.5] and all that gaf also need to enable beta version 93285 witch i think iv'e done correctly but not sure, starting to stress me out as the dayz server forum doesn't show you a completed config. The last thing i want is the server to be blacklisted i may even have to take it down for the time being until i hear back from one of the DAYZ staff. Don't stress too much mate, servers with a maximum of 5 players have been up for weeks with no consequences (although, they will eventually be taken down). The server is updated to the almost current beta version that you mention, so the only thing you need to do is to change the server name. Hope I could help. Ive made it to the deer stand you were speaking of earlier. I see someone looping round the town via the forest i didn't shoot just in-case it was one of you! iv'e just printed off a part map of where i am! I didnt realize i was out of shotgun ammo and have broken legs im close to one of the 2 deer nests below pavlovo for when im next on. i have a winchester shotgun and a silenced pistol as i'm never going to be able to walk again now! As I was following a road I met this guy, he was pretty well equipped and luckily didn't shoot me on sight. Met his friend up the road and they gave me some food n water, but I realised my guy was coughing up all over the place and losing blood. Had literally nothing on me so I hanged myself on a tree. It looks like the server went down at 8.50 but came backup soon after i think that may have been the problem. In the future it'll be on ArmA3 and maybe even a standalone. But I won't even bother with Class3, so long as it's an XBOX exclusive. ----------- I went on a little venture just now. Spawned in Elektro and since I had nothing to lose I decided to see why people are always telling you to avoid it. Found some hut things right next to where I spawned with a sh*tload of those chemlights and a smoke grenade. I don't know how but when I picked up the grenade, as soon as I closed my gear I threw it right next to me, lmao. Found this warehouse and scavenged through it. I'm surprised at how much ammo there is as loot, yet no guns as of yet. Sure the cities have a sh*tload of zombies but tbh they are much more rewarding with loot and you don't have to spend 10 minutes walking through a forest to find something of interest Edited July 1, 2012 by .Trooper.
