OysterBarron Posted July 1, 2012 Share Posted July 1, 2012 (edited) Yeah sounds like exactly the same issue i had previously! on an up note iv'e secured a shotgun quite a few bandages n other stuff iv'e left it there for now but i'm just outside of kamenka (furthermost town bottom left of map) just above it in the woods MAP LINK. So if you try and get there before you all go off we can hopefully meet up next time. O and ping timeout is currently set to 300 but i can change it so let me know if you have problems! I love this game because in all the other games,people don't care about sh*t.No eating,drinking,spending ammo and making a sh*tload of noise,because honestly they are like immortal and can kill all the zombies.Dayz is different.I'm addicted to watching LP's of it. With the huge amount of popularity the developers have discussed the idea of releasing a stand-alone retail version of the game in the future sometime. Awesome to hear a server has been set up, cheers Oysterbarron! Unfortunately, my ping is at 717 for the server as I'm located in Australia. Unless the ping timeout can be raised (substantially...) unfortunately I won't be able to play. Edit: I've currently been on the server for over 5 minutes now without being kicked, so if anyone wants to meet up I'm on the west side of Kamenka on the road! Secura Posted July 1, 2012 Share Posted July 1, 2012 A note on previous post, went to the town killed four of the bandits, one decided to try and sneak attack me and ended up drawing the hordes attention I stole the bus and left the rest of them to be slaughtered by the horde, I'm making a note to go back to the town in a short while and loot their corpses.
