I tried but the software doesn't help. If i try to use the scripts the program doesn't start at all. So I'm going super saiyan right now. panic.gif

Hey fidox,

I like your mod really much but i have a problem:

When i go to a mission i cant see Claude's head,it is disappeared confused.gif It doesnt look so nice in cutscenes when the player doesnt have a head. Do you know how to fix it?

Read the topic some posts behind he said the reason

The model isnt rigged for cutscene animations, so all you will see

Is his head moving according to the body but not eyes or lips

 

So he prefered to put a shader to the head so hair wouldnt be all fked up

Its better to see a 90% of the time with a nice playable cloud than some weird hair bug in change of a not

Hey....

 

I saw this mod and it loved it that much.. i reinstalled the game just to try it out...

 

i thought the hair on your model was a little off.... ( no offense ) think it was due to you using the old gta III textures... anyways i redid the hair texture and alpha sections using some Photoshop brushes...

None taken. Yes, it is crappy biggrin.gif I'm far from being a texture artist and the hair was especially hard to do.I've had no idea what to do with it so I did the simpliest thing came to my mind.Then I forgot about it biggrin.gif Could you provide us a link to the texture?

The cutscene-(almost)ready model are uploaded to my dropbox.

In cutscenes the head looks like it's cut here and there.I think it's the exporter tool or I dunno.The hair texture should be redone...

This mod was made for III to Rage mods(no cutscenes yet). So I don't really care about the model's appearance in cutscenes.

You should, because that looks great!

 

I swear most of the fun with custom models comes from seeing them in cut scenes. It's like the demo theatre in Metal Gear Solid 2, endless fun watching MGS1 Snake kill MGS2 Snake..

Seeing real facial expressions on Claude's eyebrows and cheeks in the intro was fun.Unfortunately it is impossible to rig the whole head properly 'cause Claude's head is smaller than Niko's. confused.gif

i just realize.. i think the shadings on his face especially on the sides of his nose and under his eyebrow is look too dark...

Comparing to the IV characters they are.Thought the same thing plus the lack of the nasolabial furrow started to bother me.

Jacket V2 progress.It is almost done.Needs more work on texture, zipper, proper bumbmap, rigging.But it looks promising I guess.

Edit: You weren't kidding about the cutscene head being buggy!

Still, progress is progress! P.S. Am I using the wrong hair texture? It's very reflective in game.

Nope.It's one of the disadvantages of the shader which allows the hair model appear in cutscenes.

About the eyes: I've never seen anything like that.I only tested the model in the intro but the only thing that bothered me was that the export plugin cut up the model around the neck area and it was cut open in the cutscene.
