FidoX
BTW I don't mind any conversion made from my works. If you want to convert the mod to SA/VC/III or you'd like to recolour some stuff or anything, then feel free to do it....I'm not interested in making a ped model. The mod's files are not locked. If you really need a ped model, you can do it yourself Edit:I've added the Jacket(Beta or alpha or whatever) to my Dropbox.Share me your thoughts. ShenLong Kazama
I'll check it out. But i think i won't be disappointed. Edit: Looks actually pretty good so far. Edited October 3, 2012 by ShenLong Kazama
ShenLong Kazama
Well the jacket itself is pretty good, but it was a bit too bright for me. What do you think of my version?
FidoX
Yep, I agree. And now it's too dark But I think it's just because of the contrast.I'm planning on darkening it, but that won't happen until everything else's finished. It's easier to see the bugs this way. Lenin
Isn't there a way to get this in EFLC ? It's perfect!

Agem
Isn't there a way to get this in EFLC ? It's perfect! Yes it is, look some pages before, i posted some pics of him in TBOGT. Make backup first! In order to get him working on TLAD or TBOGT, you must: 1- open anim.img from GTA IV with OpenIV and extract all animations to a folder 2- open anim.img from TLAD or TBOGT and replace them IV's animations 3- get playerped.rpf (it's on EFLC/PC/models/cdimages too) from IV and place it on TLAD or TBOGT cdimages folder 4- replace Niko's files with fidox's Claude from dropbox Done

manu90mala
i would like to use this (amazing) model to start a new game, does it work good in cutscenes? i mean, is the face animated without major bugs and weird facial anims? thanks!
Agem
Sadly, no lol Fidox, the SA jacket looks awesome, but sometimes it shows some weird ''reflections'', look: (Click on the image, then click it another time to get better quality) Edited October 5, 2012 by MegaMario1500

manu90mala
seeing the many player rigs out there (like the max payne ones), is there a way to have the head showing up in cutscenes? that would add at a lot to this project imo
MeminhoCu321
fidox, I know I already said that, but, you're awesome. Unfortunately my PC died , BUT, I'm buying a new one this week, and install GTA IV and your mod, will be the first thing I'll do.
FidoX
It's possible to make the head model appear. Just the shader of the head model needs to be changed. It concerns to the hair's shader as well but with the one allowing the model appear in cutscenes, the hair itself looks ugly ingame. The mod was made for III Rage modifications and they won't have cutscenes in the near future. So I thought it's pointless to have a head model that looks uglier yet cutscene-friendly.But I'll give it a shot when I have some freetime. Weird reflections: the bump map is a mess so far. That's why you're experience these glitches.I'll make another one, it's just a temporary solution. Face anim: I tried to rig the whole head but Niko's animations just mess up his face.So the answer is no.At least until someone out there figures out, how to relocate bones. Thank you all for your comments.I really appreciate them Edited October 8, 2012 by fidox
FidoX
I've just uploaded the new files.Have fun with it! Fixed: Weird reflections, rigging. ShenLong Kazama
One word: awesome. Btw fidox do you know how to remove parts from an object? Because i'd like to replace the normal backpack with the messenger bag that the courier has. The problem is, that the messenger bag is part of the courier model. A picture of the bag:
FidoX
What kind of software do you use? In max I'd just import the whole model and detach the bag's polygons then attach it to the original backpack, then delete the old bag. But it's too simple to be the right answer
ShenLong Kazama
well if you can tell me how i have to do it i could try it myself.
ShenLong Kazama
I tried to import the file but the program cannot load the plugins. Couldn't you extract the messenger bag? Would be awesome.
FidoX
If your program can not load the plugins, then you'll be in trouble when it comes to export the model too.
ShenLong Kazama
Well i got it working now, got the import/export plugins. However, the model seems to be not compiled yet, so it looks like many cubes combined.

ShenLong Kazama
I give up. The file cannot be opened, neither by 3dx max 2009 nor by 3ds max 2012. Tried with 2013, didn't work either. Edit: Okay after 2 hours i got it working. I've deleted everything except the bag itself. However, i had to use another file than yours unfortunately because the file still doesn't open. Here's the progress so far: Edited October 15, 2012 by ShenLong Kazama
ShenLong Kazama
But i have no idea how i replace that bag with the other backpack. So, it would be better if a pro like you could make it fidox. So please make two versions, normal and without mobile phone antenna.

So please make two versions, normal and without mobile phone antenna. Save that as a 3dsmax scene, then open one of Niko's bags (new scene) on 3dsmax, then add (not new) the 3dsmax scene of your bag and try to scale or something.
