I think Ogdens Nut Gone Flake (the song used in the trailer worked well IN the trailer, but would work well AS the theme song. Are there any good ones you can think of??? MOB This just feels gritty, immersive, and powerful, almost like montage music for a rich guy countin his stacks witta gun on his table and blood still steamin' from his shirt lol And that quest for the almighty dollar thing always sticks out in my mind especially when I hear this. Kinda like that g funk West Coast gangsta feel that SA had and that new found, breathtaking, and HARD and haunting sound that Soviet Connection had. I does have that same sort of feel as Soviet Connection, but we've moved on from Liberty City. Los Santos is all about the glitz and the glamour, like TBoGT, and when I first heard LS Mob, I was surprised, as I though it didn't really go with the whole theme that they set up in the trailer. I think LS Mob actually would have worked well with IV or TLAD. Don't get me wrong, LS Mob sound great, but a great soundtrack has to be perfectly fitted with it's media. Its LA, its a party rocking money making city but we got this guy who has a family and is a former (still to be) criminal and he's trying to pull a Carlito's Way kinda story probably, so what would you get as far as music goes? Buffalo Soldier Posted April 21, 2012 Share Posted April 21, 2012 That 'potential theme song' is NOT the theme - it is the music for Trailer 2, and even if it was the theme it's far too gritty and dirty for a game based in Los Santos where the atmosphere should be alot less depressing than Liberty City. Personally, I'd love the song from Trailer 1 to be the theme - simply because I associate that song with GTA V now anyway, like I do with Pjanoo from TBoGT - even though it's not the theme.
