El bazo got an e-mail back about 2 weeks ago concerning the "swimming" query everyone had.....and I can officially say it has not been included, heres what the main man (my source) said.. SalvatoreLeoneOG Posted September 3, 2002 Share Posted September 3, 2002 OK has forgotten that US Navy S.E.A.L's swim with that stuff,anyone could too if you are strong enough.SEALS carry a Mark 23 SOCOM for their handgun with 3 clips including one in the gun,a MP5 for their secondary with about 4 clips including one in the gun.And their Primary like a M-603 machine gun with 5 100 round ammo pouches,a M249 SAW with about 6 ammo boxes with 200 rounds per box.a M4 with about 11 30 round clips,a M4/M203 with 11 30 round clips and 6 40mm greandes and then 5 HEAT greandes,a PSG-1 sniper rifle with 11 20 round clips.They also carry 6 frag greandes a Ka-Bar knife,binocs,night vision goggles,raidios,medical kits,C rations,LAW rocket launchers,laptops PC's,laser designators and a canteen.thats about 200 to 500 pounds and they swim with it,walk long distances,jump out of planes and run 100 meters less than 20 secs.No reason why he can't swim.
