Hello,

When i install a car mod, it says it installed, but it wont install?

Then, When i go in-game, the car has the original car texture?

Are you only changing the .dff? You need to make sure you're replacing both the .dff and the .txd with your new car's files.

There's a simple solution to this, DONT USE SAMI, i had many problems while using it like backups geting deleted, files becoming corrupt. You'd be better off using IMG Tool, you have to install you're mods manually but it's alot more realible than SAMI.

Just make sure when you're installing mods with IMG Tool that you replace the dff and txd files and that you rebuild both files after you installed them.

Yeah, Don't use SAMI.... It's ****. Just use IMGTool, SAMI ends up being just as hard so theres no point

Also, I used to have it, before i re-booted my PC. It worked then. And with image tool, i try to delete a file, I get

I/O Error 32
Or something like that, so it doesn't delete it.

Well i got it to work but my game is lagging as hell sad.gif.

All i did was install a skin mod and delete a few files (for my car mods to show) from IMGTool and now it lags like hell

When you install mods with IMG Tool just replace the files, don't delete them. And always make sure you make backups of the original files, so if everything goes tits up or you decide you no longer want to use it then you can re-install the original ones. And if you're game's lagging after installing a mod then it's probably a high poly mod that you're computer cant cope with, just un-install it and try another one.
