GTA IV:

1. Running over a lot of peds and making my car get covered in blood.

2. Hangman's Noose

3. SA is my favorite

4. 9.0/10

GTA V:

1. Definitely

2. Exploration

3. Pretty impressed so far, the map looks like it's gonna be huge, planes are gonna be in, the narration suggests a solid story line and the graphics are good (not amazing though).

4. 9.3/10

GTA IV

Most Memorable Moment(s)?

Probably the first time I played the game and seeing the Algonquin skyline.

Favorite Features?

Believe it or not I would say bowling. I've wasted many hours bowling in GTA IV lo.

Favorite In The Series?

It ranks on the same level as VC to me. If I could have two favourite GTAs in my profile GTA IV would be right along side of VC.

Overall IV Rating Out Of 10?

9.5/10. I was disappointed there was no car customizing, but other than that excellent game.

GTA V

Future Expectations?

We'll wait and see. I think it will to be honest.

Future Dream?

I'm hoping the story is more complex and deeper than GTA IV infact. What I liked about GTA IV was its strong story telling.

Impressed Or Let Down Slightly?

I really enjoyed the trailer. A lot of people thought it was VC with the beach in the opening scene, but I had a feeling it was LS. I'm really looking forward to exploring this new and sparse environment R* have created for us.

Overall GTA V Trailer#1 Rating Out Of 10?

10/10. It was more than what I was hoping for. I thought we were going to get something a bit like GTA IV, but with the whole mystery surrounding the protagonist it was better than I thought it was going to be.

GTA IV

Most Memorable Moment(s)?

~multiplayer games, being the driver.

Favorite Features?

~Driving physics.

Favorite In The Series?

~yes and no, Physics and graphics wise? yeah for sure, Story? I preferred over San Andreas (never been a fan of the "gangsta" culture bullcrap. San Andreas had more stuff to do though.

Overall IV Rating Out Of 10?

~7/10. great physics, great graphics, pretty damn fun, great story. not enough interactivity, a little too gritty at times, not enough special vehicles, replay value wasn't that great at times.

GTA V

Future Expectations?

~I'm expecting the world to be larger, feel more alive, and be more interactive than IV, Better driving physics, more vehicles (including special vehicles that function real (lifting forklift forks, for example))

Future Dream?

~I'll probably do enough of the story to unlock the whole map, then explore/RP

Impressed Or Let Down Slightly?

~The trailer got me excited, but I can't really say anything until I get a hold of the game and get a few hours under my belt.

Overall GTA V Trailer#1 Rating Out Of 10?

~8/10. showed off a lot, but didn't give us any real meat, just showed us a pile of bones really. enough that we can probably guess a large part of the skeleton, but no meat, muscles, nerves, organs, and missing a few joints and bones still. we've guessed many things for the game, but we'll see what we get in the coming months, an when the game hits the shelf.

The first part belongs to this section, but for the second one:

1. Of course I do. Since they're known for doing amazing and original games, I'm pretty sure that R* will make an amazing GOTY worthy.

2. I just want another GTA with better graphics, physics and a better environment. Nothing else.

3. Very excited. My hype never went down due to lack of information.

4. 9/10.

GTA IV

1. Jumping out of a helicopter at max height trying to land in a small pool, missing, hitting some sort of wooden shelter, landing barely a foot from the pool and suviving icon14.gif

2. Ragdoll effect

3. It is my favourite GTA at the moment just because of the Multiplayer.

4. 9.0/10

GTA V:

1. Fingers Crossed!

2. Epic police shootouts/dogfights

3. I'm extremely impressed. It had just the right amount of everything

4. 9.5/10

Most memorable moments

- That must be when I was playing the game and my grand-parents came to visit, my grand-father was curious about this game and I just recently got it so I had little to no cash in it, was going to show him what was possible to do in the game, he was interested in the bowling aspect, but since I didn't have enough money I had to jack civilians by killing them, boy he did not like that lol.gif

favorite features?

- Driving Physics, absolutely love it.

Favorite in the series?

- Definately not, I've played and owned Vice City, San Andreas and IV, tried out 2 and 3, I must say that San Andreas is my all - time favorite, by a mile, IV must be placed third or second.

Overall IV rating out of 10?

- 8.5, while lacking in quite a few areas that San Andreas had ( i.e Exploration and freedom, sense of scale, great fun factor and replay ability ) it is still a magnificent game

GTA V

Future dream?

- What I really want is a game that has Vice City's story, humor and character built up, San Andreas' exploration, sandbox feel, sense of scale, fun factor with GTA IV's graphics and physics.

Impressed or let down slightly?

- I wasn't actually anticipating the trailer when I saw it, so I was most definitely excited

Overall GTA V trailer#1 rating out of 10?

- As I said before, I wasn't expecting it, I didn't have expectations for the trailer, so I give it a good rating of 10/10

GTA IV:

1. The opening scene, the music was perfect and the cinematography and the way they credited everyone was awesome.

2. I loved playing pool and it wouldn't be GTA if you can't run over the whole city tounge.gif

3. GTA III will always be my favorite in the series. GTA IV is up there after it, though.

4. 9.5/10 Like Miamivicecity said, no car customization.

GTA V:

1. V looks impressive and I think it will definitely exceed my expectations. The first trailer alone left me in awe.

2. Definitely looking forward to that California vibe. Cruisin' Los Santos during the sunset playing some gangsta rap hopefully.

3. It was definitely a "teaser". I can't wait to see more!

4. 9.5/10. I'd like to know who the god damn protagonist is!

GTA IV

Most Memorable Moment(s)?

Obviously, the first time I played. Getting out of the car by passing through the windshield, the realism of the water, the realism of the city, the first helicopter ride, the first time I saw the city itself... The first time, I guess it's always like that.

Favorite Features?

It's in TBoGT - The rich Muslim that gives you a military helicopter - well, that helicopter. Too much fun.

Favorite In The Series?

No. I enjoyed the graphics and the physics, but San Andreas' storyline beats it anyday of the week.

Overall IV Rating Out Of 10?

If San Andreas was a 10/10, GTA IV was a 8/10.

GTA V

Future Expectations?

A great game.

Future dream?

I want a game that has a great storyline like San Andreas' and 2012 qquality graphics/physics. Need that SoCal vibe also. I dream about San Fierro and Las Venturas to be back (San Fierro more than Las Venturas).

Impressed or let down slightly?

Impressed. The first trailer was just plain awesome. I didn't expect it, and the wait before the announcement that they were going to show the trailer and the showing of the trailer wazn't too long. I am affraid that the second trailer isn't going to be as good as the first one. The first one had great music, great narration, great images, and they didn't tell enough so it created a major hype.

Overall GTA V trailer#1 rating out of 10?

10/10

I play gta since the first one... Haha!

Here's my opinions:

Most memorable moments...: since from driving drunk Roman Bellic.. To jump from a plane on TBoGT. I loved Gta iv and eflc. My best one! smile.gif

Favorite features...: So... It was 2008... 21 century. 6th generation of video games.. Nice features were added.. Graphics awesome.. Euphoria and rockstar games always do a great work together so the physics engine was awesome (and still awesome.. Featuring gta v and max payne 3).

Third question:

No and yes.. San Andreas and GTA IV are the bests! And... I hope that rockstar takes the strong storytelling of GTA IV... And the fun of San Andreas... (the gameplay).

Fourth question:

10/10. Yes! I was so excited since the first trailer!

GTA V

future expactations: Starting with the map... A detailed map (and big) so we can explore the game like we all did in san andreas. Storytelling: an interesting storytelling. Like the story of niko was... The real life of the immigrants with a little bit of humor. That was the best story ever! Now an intense storytelling.. With cinematic missions.

Rockstar is awesome.. I always trust them!

Future dream?

Get the game put on my 360.. And finish and explore the story,map,gameplay... Then i'll get into the muiltiplayer

Impressed ?

A bit. The trailer don't excited me... But i'm excited about the game..

Last question.

9,5/10. Trailer was cool. Showing just the story(i love the stories of dam houser). But nothing more than showing the city and letting everybody curious about the story. Seriously ? Yes! Gta v impressed me since the release wink.gif

GTA IV

Most Memorable Moment(s)?

What is your favorite memorable moments from playing IV?

Driving around in the tank, and the police chase mission where you jump from shipping container to shipping container in the ocean, that was the best most fun mission in IV IMO.

The mission No 3.

Favorite Features?

What was your favorite IV features e.g Physics?

Graphics, the physics were hell fun, but it was difficult to exploit it, no invincibility cheat, and the physics was also a down side, getting in and out of cars took forever, acceleration sucked, cars weighed 10 tonnes each (It seemed like).

Favorite In The Series?Did you prefer IV to previous titles? e.g Vice City, San Andreas etc...?

Nope previous titles i played in my golden gaming years, no game ever will be more fun, i was just a kid then.

Overall IV Rating Out Of 10?

Did it exceed your initial expectations?

No it didn't, a hell of a lot of things pissed me off about IV, it lacked features and the animations and other things in game were painstakingly slow

If i were to rate IV, i would give it an 8 (WHich is good by my standards)

GTA V

Future Expectations?

From playing IV post hype, do you expect V to live up to your expectations?

Yes very much so, hopefully the most awe inspiring amazing game yet.

Future Dream?

What do you want most to do in V e.g Story, Exploration, Multiplayer etc...

Story and exploration, there better be a f*ckload for me to do when i am in between missions or finished the story

Impressed Or Let Down Slightly?

Did the trailer do it for you, are you excited and eager for this game most of all upcoming titles?

What more could i ask for from a trailer? Gave us an introduction, beautiful views of the map and some gameplay, it did all this without revealing too much.

Overall GTA V Trailer#1 Rating Out Of 10?

Did it exceed your initial expectations?

Yes it did, by a lot, 10 out of 10.

GTA IV

Most Memorable Moment(s)?

In all honesty it was the first hour or two of playing the game, ive been a fan of the series from when the original top down came out I didnt even know that the IV was out until i came across it in the shop, stuck it in and was just in awe at how great the graphics were.

Favorite Features?

The handling of the vehicles is a huge step in the right direction some flaws for what i would call perfect but hey.

Favorite In The Series?

Still SA for me, it took me until about a month ago to finally complete the main story too it and that took alot of will power I always find myself getting side tracked and mucking about for hours on end and never doing the missions.

Overall IV Rating Out Of 10?

8/10 Beautiful graphics for how big it is but let down abit for replay value features.

GTA V

Future Expectations?

I certainly hope it will surpass them, however i think its easy to let emotions and hopes run wild only to be crushed some, im being careful not to over excite myself. but like the rest have said its a waiting game really.

Future Dream?

For rockstar to have plucked the best features and such from previous titles, I fully respect that these are purely a personal preference to each individual, but for me it will the the depth of story and emotion from IV (if not quite so dark) and the features and customization from SA of which IV serverly lacks in my mind.

I love how certain vehicles did what they were supposed to do ie fork lifts lifting things tow trucks and tractors towing things and trucks attaching to trailers.

Impressed Or Let Down Slightly?

Very impressed it looks gorgeous at times, and I quite like how if we are honest NOTHING has been given away short of the fact that we know Los Santos will be part of the game, although I will admit to being slightly disapointed that we arent being taken somewhere new and unique, even though admittedly IV 99.95% of the time did feel fresh and new, there were times that it felt like id been there and done it before.

Overall GTA V Trailer#1 Rating Out Of 10?

9.5

GTA IV

Most Memorable Moment(s)?

Having almost the whole Free Roam attendees trying to chase me down.

Favorite Features?

The physics and the new aiming system. Oh, and the multiplayer.

Favorite In The Series?Did you prefer IV to previous titles? e.g Vice City, San Andreas etc...?

With BoGT, I'd say it's the best overall in quality. I really don't have a favorite GTA, they're all epic games.

Overall IV Rating Out Of 10?

Did it exceed your initial expectations?

9.5/10 It met them. I wasn't completely shocked and awed but I had as much fun with it as previous entries.

GTA V

Future Expectations?

From playing IV post hype, do you expect V to live up to your expectations?

Absolutely. I'm pretty sure that the game will be the best GTA (heck, make that the best pound-for-pound game) ever.

Future Dream?

What do you want most to do in V e.g Story, Exploration, Multiplayer etc...

Make me feel how I felt when I first played GTA San Andreas in comparison to the previous GTAs.

Impressed Or Let Down Slightly?

Did the trailer do it for you, are you excited and eager for this game most of all upcoming titles?

I sh*t you not: the trailer was during one of my classes, so I literately just skipped it and sat in the cafeteria with my buddies and stared at the laptop's countdown to the trailer for 40 minutes. It was totally worth it. Shoulda seen my face when I saw it was in San Andreas lol

10/10 Absotudley.

GTA IV:

Most Memorable Moment

Roman's murder sent shivers down my spine. It was the first time a video game had successfully made me somewhat emotional. (And I don't need to encode this statement in spoilers because there aren't people on this forum who haven't already finished the game)

Favorite Features

I really enjoyed going to the bar with friends and getting a wanted level from hopping behind the wheel afterwards. The commentary between characters while drunk was hilarious too. The addition of the Internet, comedy clubs, and parachutes was great too.

Favorite in the Series

My favorite game in the series is obviously IV since it's easily the most immersive and realistic in GTA history.

Overall Rating Out of 10

10/10, since its flaws are far and few between.

GTA V:

Future Expectations

I don't think V will reach my expectations simply because Los Santos appears to be tiny, and this indicates that the map will likely be made up of mostly countryside. This poses a huge problem for me, because I frankly don't enjoy countryside at all in video games.

Future Dream

A gigantic and lush Los Santos that accurately depicts the culture and atmosphere of real-life LA. The addition of an Orange County parody would be welcome too.

Impressed or Let Down Slightly

The trailer disappointed me because again, Los Santos looked tiny. Then again, I wasn't too surprised since I knew R* would get pressured into adding a sh*tload of countryside to appease its fans.

Overall Rating of GTA V Trailer #1

5/10, for a variety of reasons. First, it revealed that an older white man would likely be the protagonist, which shows that R* is innately out-of-touch with LA culture, since older white men are not the primary crime causers in LA. A GTA based in modern-day LA needs to feature a gang member or former-gang member protagonist. Second, the driving physics appeared to be moving in a more unrealistic direction, which is disappointing for a driving-game enthusiast like myself. Third and most importantly, Los Santos didn't appear to be very large compared to Liberty City.

The trailer only showed a small bit of los santos, believe me los santos (and the map itself) will be huge R* already confirmed its going to be their biggest game yet, also the old white guy is not the protag, its either the black guy (running from the cops) or the hispanic dude, believe me GTA V will be f*ckin awesome, Rockstar never dissapoints

What is your favorite memorable moments from playing IV?

- Probably the episodes which IMO were both great and were quite a bit better than the orginal story.

Favorite Features?

What was your favorite IV features e.g Physics?

- I enjoyed the way thing interacted when you shot them, especially the Shotgun in BOGT, things reacted how they should.

Favorite In The Series?

Did you prefer IV to previous titles? e.g Vice City, San Andreas etc...?

- Vice City, closely followed by San Andreas. I prefered these 2 quite a bit over GTAIV

Overall IV Rating Out Of 10?

Did it exceed your initial expectations?

- It didn't exceed my expectations it let me down a little but is still a great game in my eyes. I'd give the original an 8/10 but the episodes an 8.5/10

GTA V

Future Expectations?

From playing IV post hype, do you expect V to live up to your expectations?

- I think GTAV will blow me away, I see GTAIV in a similar vien to GTAIII, it was the start and as with Vice City and San Andreas I expect massive strides to be taken with V as opposed to IV.

Future Dream?

What do you want most to do in V e.g Story, Exploration, Multiplayer etc...

- I certainly don't give a flying crap about multiplayer. I just want a great single player game, San Andreas on acid is what I'm hoping for.

Impressed Or Let Down Slightly?

Did the trailer do it for you, are you excited and eager for this game most of all upcoming titles?

- The trailer blew me away and made GTAV one of my most anticipated games in over 20 years of gaming.

- Trailers are built to get you excited, this was off the scale for me. 10/10

The hispanic guy as a protag, and being able to upgrade my car.(Offline and online)

Future Dream?

If they add the Buzzard,I would like to have a hydra vs buzzard fight and looking for easer eggs.

Impressed Or Let Down Slightly?

GTA IV

Most Memorable Moment(s)?

Including expansions? Stealing a subway car. Not including, the ending of GTA IV where one of two characters, depending on your choice, ends up dead.

Favorite Features?

I liked the graphics a lot, and the physics system was awesome.

Favorite In The Series?

IV and San Andreas are 1 and 2, which is which? I couldnt tell you.

Overall IV Rating Out Of 10?

9.8/10, got a little tired of Liberty City and there was something else I cant put my finger on keeping it from a full 10/10.

GTA V

Future Expectations?

I think it will live up to my expectations, I'm expecting a slightly expanded version of everything in GTA IV so unless it completely sucks it should do that easily.

Future Dream?

Find Grove street and cruise around.

Impressed Or Let Down Slightly?

I'm impressed, they went pretty all out recreating Los Santos.

Overall GTA V Trailer#1 Rating Out Of 10?

9.9/10, it set up the city and the plot pretty well, all it was missing was defining who the protagonist is exactly.

GTA IV:

1. My favorite moment from GTA IV was doing all the crazy things in Free Mode with my friends. For example, we would always get 6 stars and run away from the cops. And we still do, but not as much as the good old days in 2009 when the game was fresh to me and them.

2. Have to be the graphics. When IV first came out the graphics were soo detailed (back then).

3. SA was my favorite. Take away the graphics from IV and slap SA's graphics on them and IV would be hot garbage.

4. 8.5/10 Not enough replay value after you finish the game/aren't playing online. Although "friends" was a huge step up from after-story activites.

GTA V:

1. My expectations for V are off the roof. I expect San Andreas level fun, IV graphics, VC feeling, and an even better story line than all the GTA's put together. I expect the map to be larger (or atleast feel larger) than San Andreas, and have much more to do than in IV. I want online to be 100x better from IV, I can see it coming true since RDR had GREAT online.

2. My future dream in IV is just having that feeling of fun like San Andreas, but yet experiencing the eye candy from the graphics of IV. And when I'm just cruising around, just feeling the atmosphere of the game. Having that feeling of completeness in the game, and knowing that this game will keep me occupied for a long time cool.gif

3. I'm blown away. Los Santos (based off one of my favorite cities to be in Los Angeles) I feel will be a lot better than Liberty City. I just have a feeling that it will be my favorite so far, even exceeding SA (imo).

4. 9/10 - The trailer gave us enough to munch on, but yet haves us DYING for more.

GTA IV

1. When I was watching cutscene from That Special Someone

2. Physics and storyline

3. IV was best by far

4. 10/10- story was great, physics and graphics are awesome, Liberty City is highly detailed, and only thing that annoyed me just a little was friends calling me every 2 seconds, but other than that it's great

GTA V

1. My expectations are also very high, i think they will keep realism from IV and add minigames from SA, I also expect very big Los Santos with huge countryside. I also expect great storyline with multiple endings. Rockstar really set the bar high with IV and they'll have to put a lot of effort to top IV.

2. My plan is to play this game for a long time. I'm not playing multiplayer until I finish the storyline. And if V has the atmosphere like Vice City, then I wont stop playing V for a really long time.

3. I'm really impressed with Los Santos and visuals, they both look really awesome.

4. 9.5/10....It would be 10/10 if they cleared out who was the protagonist.

GTA IV:

1. The mission where you had to snipe the people at the construction center. Robbing the bank. Every scene with Jacob, especially when he has to translate what Badman is saying for Niko.

2. Duck and Cover system. In the previous games, you pretty much had to stand there and hoped your enemies died before you. Here, you could actually duck and cover.

3. IV is my absolute favorite. The city is so lifelike and amazingly detailed. Not to mention I am originally from NY, so it reminded me so much of why I am glad to no longer be there. biggrin.gif Anyway, my next favorite is Vice City.

4. Oh yeah, in fact, it made me a big GTA fan. My brother usually bought the games and I would occassional just turn it on to run around and shoot things while exploring the city. Being that I could no longer do that, I played through this game and loved every minute of it to the point that I went out and bought all of the previous games (except the GBA one).

GTA V:

1. Compared to IV, I expect it to. Compared to RDR, it is going to be hard.

2. I want to just explore and have a good time with it. I want memorable characters and a good story. Don't care about multiplayer, I will never touch it.

3. Oh yeah, it got me pumped.

GTA IV:

1. Being born and raised in NYC I loved the outstanding job R* did w/ Liberty City. From the overall look/feel of NYC to the accuracy of certain areas that few non-New Yorkers would be able to recognize (Fordham Road in the Bronx probably being my favorite inclusion).

2. Headshots from cover, blood on the wall. Awesome.

3. New driving mechanics. Once mastered, it feels damn good to fly through traffic untouched.

4. Paying tolls lol, I don't know why, but I love it...

5. Taxis... a good example of a feature that adds realism and usability...

6. The internet. www.pointclickshipabitch.com? Hysterical.

GTA V:

Everything. I cannot wait for the release date to be announced, so I can tell my co-workers when to not expect to see me for a few days lol

GTA IV

Most Memorable Moment(s)?

What is your favorite memorable moments from playing IV?

1 that stood out for me was playing online with my mate, finding the forklifts and mopeds on Happiness Island and then just doing laps mowing down peds..Was such a good laugh.

Favorite Features?

What was your favorite IV features e.g Physics?

The improved graphics when i first played the game were simply incredible! Can you remember turning on the game for the first time and witnessing the amazing graphics and physics? Incredible.

Favorite In The Series?

San Andreas for me is and always will be the best GTA..I remember playing it for hours on end every day and it never ever got old..I explored every little inch of the map and i still play it sometimes and it still throws out new things that i never discovered...GTA IV in comparison was ok, but SA will always be the best game ever.

Overall IV Rating Out Of 10?

8/10.

I had some amazing times on GTA IV and i still play it very often, either to pass the time or the fact it never gets old...But compared to SA and even VC, it didnt have much of a GTA feel to it, and maybe that was because i was so used to SA and its vast map and countryside, and multiple features that i didnt appreciate GTA IV as much.

GTA V

Future Expectations?

Honestly, This game will be the best game ever...I hope. The buzz around it is immense and it trended 4 times at once on Twitter on October 25th and then November 2nd...This game has to live up to expectations...It can be, and should be better than SA.

Future Dream?

People slate the IV Multiplayer but i enjoyed it..I mostly play GTA offline but when i play mates i dont want Team Deathmatch or any of that.. I just want to cruise around having fun, and the free mode was perfect for that imo. GTA V for me has to have a great variety of activities and a massive countryside. SA's best feature for me was the endless country and desert...so with better technology and disc space, I hope V has more and better detail in the countryside.

Impressed Or Let Down Slightly?

The trailer for me was good. It didnt have a action movie style to it, But it showed us what to expect in terms of the map, the features and graphics...The only thing it could have included is the Protag.

Overall GTA V Trailer#1 Rating Out Of 10?

8/10.

Favorite Features?
  • The new shooting fetures
  • More customization in the protagnist
  • Mutiplayer in consoles
Favorite In The Series?

My favorite series would have to be IV. The reason I say this is becuase I feel that it was a brand new experince for the creators and the gamers in what they brought. I mean if you think the graphics got much better with the new phyics and a diffrent approach in the game with a bit more realistic side to it. And I enjoyed it because they have mutiplayer in consoles.

Overall IV Rating Out Of 10?

Yes, it meet my expectations. 9.0 out of 10.

Just better mutiplayer and graphics and more realistic side to it.

Riding modded Hakuchou, R1, Veyron etc with their real life identical performance in first person view (with a speedometer and sometimes a nitro).

San Andreas without a second thought.

Overall IV Rating Out Of 10?
